Reports Trump seeking pipeline language to be returned to “big beautiful bill”

Sounds like President Trump is seeking energy independence in the form of pipeline language to be returned to the reconciliation bill:

    1. If he’s against it, it’s only because the radical right in this state has made it impossible to have rational conversations about it. The damage it has caused our state and our reputation is immeasurable. Heard a utility company employee speaking about how hard it will be to get easements for their utilities now that the sentiment is anti-pipeline and anti-business. All while the whackadoodles told people and pretended it was Trump’s will, while not understanding anything about his policies or agenda. Idiots, one and all. If Dusty was smart, he would use this as an opportunity to show how out of touch the crazy right is. Show they are the true rinos and use leftist tactics and talking points now.

  1. answer: don’t forget Amanda Fonda and her NIMBY pals too.

I’ll try to stop the sufferers of pipeline derangement syndrome (PDS) from posting the usual refrain of ‘Summit must have bought them off’ when one agrees with the pipeline and infrastructure .

no one is buying off President Trump, so try something more original. .

  2. So Trump is all about “big, beautiful pipelines” and a proponent for carbon sequestration. How confusing this is becoming for the Hanson/Lemms camp.

  3. The pipeline language belongs in the big beautiful bill. Trump is right on this one. Hansen/Lems exploited their base with empty vitriol and strident language. Summit had a poor roll out and never recovered, that’s on them. SAF use is going up. Ethanol plants currently sequestering CO2 are paying more for corn. Technology is our friend. Paul Harvey lamented that if we’d been introduced to electricity by the electric chair we’d still be in the dark. He was referring to his passion for technology, particularly nuclear technology.

  4. Pipelines lead to energy independence and dominance. Pipelines contribute “Hugely” to the tax base.
Pipelines are the safest way to transport anything that will go through them.
    Pipelines are good for everyone!
    Very Trumpy.

  5. There is a difference between pipelines to transport oil, and pipelines to transport CO2 as part of the new green deal/carbon credits.

    1. Not to trump. He is in favor of carbon pipelines and has specifically said they aren’t part of the “green new scam”. They increase the use, availability and longevity of fossil fuels and supporting industries. Nothing green new deal about that. Stop believing the bs the whackos have been spouting for the last year. It’s garbage. Just look at the environmental groups that helped this group of nuts. Jane Fonda, sierra club, et al.

    2. A simple search for Trump and Carbon Sequestration will tell you all you need to know. He is backing this.

  6. If we don’t get this pipeline SD will suffer for years. These Radke crazies are full of nothing but lies & Bullying…sure wish the people making decisions would stop letting themselves be bullied! Trump won’t cower to the Bullies…hope he gets this done!

  7. So Rep. Johnson can either listen to howlin’ Amanda Radke or Pres. Trump. Yeah…. that’s a tough one.

    1. If you’ve ever taken a college level environmental chem course, maybe even high school level, you’d know that it’s not a scam.

But most opponents fall into the bucket of society that haven’t read a book since graduating High School, so fat chance you’ve done that.

      1. How much energy is used to create one gallon of ethanol? How much energy does one gallon of ethanol release when burned? Just considering the energy deficit it’s a scam.

  8. There is no difference between a carbon pipeline and a oil pipeline if it’s crossing your land and they’re forcing you to take it, we need to treat both the same

  9. If it were up to no-minds like Lems and Hansen, we would still be driving on gravel roads and pumping our own water.

    1. We are heading in that direction with the economic policy of those two But hey all the kids will be in catholic schools.

  10. Trump just got a payoff to say that. I’m a republican and will call a Scam a Scam. Wake up fellow patriots!!!

    1. Trump who doesn’t need the money, was paid off today that. Tinfoil is getting to be in short supply. All these nuts throwing around the term “patriot” is degrading the word. It used be good and honorable and now it’s being associated with crazy whackadoodles. You guys can’t follow your own narratives anymore.

  11. How would the pipeline language be part of a CR? I thought all this had to be directly impacting the budget, or are these rules suspended as well?
