He has my support. We need more veterans running!
We need new blood not the same damn people recycling through offices.
8 years as auditor
8 years as treasurer
8 more as auditor again?
24 years office swapping is a bit much and against the spirit of term limits and starts to look like employment seeking. I’d like to see the private sector call some of these people. Even the good ones. These shouldn’t be a career paycheck.
The musical office swapping game in Pierre just doesn’t appeal to many of us.
This appears to be a problem that should be addressed because most of us thought we addressed it when we supported term limits.
The most important qualifications for the office are subject matter expertise and management skills, as the position is not inherently political in nature.
Experience is a far more important consideration than change, simply for the sake of change.
Word around the capital this morning is that several appropriators are activley looking for an alternative candidate for state auditor.
Is Peters angling? How about Jeff Partridge?
Any other choices?
Sattgast is a solid choice
Does the SDDP have a candidate for this office?
I’m not anti Sattgast. He’s nice. I’ve voted for him but he’s run his course if he’s flipping backwards. What is he going to do now that he didn’t do 16 years ago?
There aren’t going to be any women in constitutional offices. This is a concern also.
He assumes we know him. No where in this letter does he state his current occupation or past positions. Not smart.
I may be mistaken, but I think this letter was sent to delegates at the convention who will select the candidates for Constitutional offices and are already familiar with his background.
I agree with anon 9:35 am, it was probably left off on purpose. I like the guy, but enough is enough !
He is doing a great job.
A first term SD Senator who has never won a competitive election, has virtually no discernable voting record, apparently claims some sort of adulation for the Trump victory in SD that was going to happen with no campaign director, wants the voters to anoint him as the second coming of Trump who will usher in the Golden Age from his lofty perch as the sole House member from South Dakota.
I’ll have to drop him a note of encouragement. Does anyone have the street address of the Tapio Tower?
Haha.
Ken I think you hit the wrong place with your posting but it is still too funny!!!
