  1. Thune’s such a joke. Melting down? They are fighting against a horrible bill that stands to HURT South Dakota dramatically. Even OMB agrees it will negatively impact Americans. This “man” doesn’t care about anything but money and power. Borders aren’t the problem. Immigrants aren’t the problem. They’ve made everyone afraid of something that isn’t a big problem. Big problem = Not following the constitution, illegal profiting off the office of the president, getting in bed with Russia, and Oligarchs/power hungry people.

  2. Democrats ARE doing a terrible job. I thought early-on that Schumer should have hired McConnell to manage the Democrats’ resistance since McConnell played them like a cheap fiddle for so many years. But in reality, it is probably more desirable to have a party doing a terrible job than it is to have a party work so diligently to dismantle American norms and laws.

  3. Is Elon one of the dems now? If Elon buys the Dems out like he did MAGA, maybe that will be enough for people to see we need to control money in politics? Probably not though…

  4. When the good senator took office in 2005, the national debt was $8 trillion. He has served under both Republican and Democratic administrations and his party in the senate has been in both the majority and minority. National debt is now just under $37 trillion and he serves as the leader of the senate. Spending trillions more that the country has to borrow is completely irresponsible and gutting social safety net programs is equally cruel and disgusting.
