  1. No one really cares about either of their campaigns… they both could not be more boring.

Is anyone really shocked that current state legislators would be backing an incumbent?

  2. There are 16 Dems, correct? Leaving 89 Republicans. I’d be curious who the 19 not on this list are.

  3. I am not on the list. I am the chairman of the Grant County Republican Party, and I don’t get involved in primaries.

I know who I’m voting for, but it’s my job to make sure Republicans are informed of their options and show up to vote so that we can continue to make the South Dakota Democrat party a useless endeavor.

  4. Mr. Wiik, I am chairman of the keep-crappy-people-out- of-public-service committee. My job is to make sure everyone knows who a crappy candidate is. Crappy candidates are found in every party. Shame on you for not supporting Mike Rounds.

    1. Rounds doesn’t pass your test… hows that dept of education doing he promised to get rid of????

  5. I found this on Cal Thomas’s column. Kind of says it all!
CAL THOMAS COMMENTARY MAY 18, 2020

WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN IF MEMBERS OF CONGRESS WERE LIMITED IN THEIR TERMS, LIMITED IN THEIR SPENDING, LIMITED IN THEIR SALARIES IF THEY DON’T SHOW UP FOR WORK, AND LIMITED IN THEIR PENSIONS?

NONE OF THIS WILL HAPPEN, OF COURSE, BECAUSE CONGRESS WOULD HAVE TO AUTHORIZE IT, BUT IT’S FUN TO IMAGINE.

MORE SCALED-DOWN GOVERNMENT LEADING TO MORE EFFICIENT GOVERNMENT THE WAY THE FOUNDERS CREATED IT. THE SUPREME COURT FORCED TO RETURN TO CONSTITUTIONAL BOUNDARIES. UNNECESSARY COMMITTEES AND SUBCOMMITTEES ELIMINATED. PARTISAN INVESTIGATIONS LIMITED.

OUR GOVERNMENT IS BROKEN NOT ONLY BECAUSE OF US, BUT BECAUSE OF CAREER POLITICIANS WHO BROKE IT. WE HAVE SOME RESPONSIBILITY BECAUSE WE VOTE THEM IN. THE COUNTRY IS DIVIDED AND SO CONGRESS IS, TOO.

I WOULD LOVE TO SEE A COMMISSION DECIDING WHICH AGENCIES, PROGRAMS AND POLICIES WORK ACCORDING TO AN OBJECTIVE STANDARD AND WHICH DON’T. GET RID OF ONES THAT DON’T AND KEEP ONES THAT DO.

THAT IS AS LIKELY TO HAPPEN AS TERM LIMITS BECAUSE OUR CORRUPT CONGRESS AND WORSE MEDIA WON’T LET IT. I’M CAL THOMAS.
