    1. grudznick appreciates the short and pointed comment from Ms. Noem. I only wish there was a movie of her poking her finger and saying it while wearing those camo pants and hat of hers.

  1. So they dropped the charges because most of the clients were already removed from the country without due process? I would guess those left will simply refile since it was dismissed without prejudice. This is like the mob bragging they killed the person testifying against them. She is not a smart woman.

    1. Get this cult member his safe space. He can’t handle people being critical of an elected official. He enjoys the taste of boots.

  2. I thought it was out of line until I read through the cast of characters on the attached page. It’s the ACLU. Context is everything: It’s a bunch of hustlers who don’t care at all about the people who were deported. They probably withdrew because they weren’t making enough money off them.

    1. The ACLU makes its money off donations and membership fees, what are you even talking about?

      1. yes they make tbeir money off donations: like the Southern Poverty Law Center, which sends out letters detailing sad stories. People send them money, money which the subjects of those sad letters never see.
They probably tried raising money by sending out letters about how they are helping these illegal immigrants, and found out the deportees aren’t the cash cows they thought they were.

        1. You just made this up. There is literally zero evidence to support such a claim. You eat babies. There: now we’re both just making stuff up.

          1. speaking of babies, Planned Parenthood uses lawsuits against them to raise money, too.
Each lawsuit filed by Right to Life is used to whip up donations. The more lawsuits filed against PP, the more donations they get..
That’s how these organizations operate. Read the fundraising letters they send out, they’re always about fighting some grave injustice, and they need money.

  3. Childish. For an audience of one. Good job Corey you got what you wanted. An outrage.

Quite the week for her. If you think she’s capable, informed and up to her current task, well then, you shall get what you deserve.

    1. Ian Fury seems like the only reason stuff like this DIDN’T go out, but still kept its flare. He was a good comms guy for Noem.

I’m a fan of Noem but I don’t appreciate this language. I get that lawsuits are stressful, but we don’t say “suck it”. That’s not who we are as South Dakotans, Republican or Democrat.

It’s one thing to say it to the DC Democrats who deserve it, but in regards to people just trying to stay in the country where their community lives, it’s just kind of bitter…

I can appreciate that we currently have a Governor who has continually improved in his 20+ years of politics, both in patience and in rhetoric. He’s the only potential candidate with consistent values, which is why I greatly hope he runs for re-election. What our country and state needs is someone to heal the political rift, not make more waves.

The parties can feed off one another’s negativity, or they can compete to set the bar higher than the other. Liberals lowered the bar WAY too low and Trump got elected. We need to stop the snowball from running downhill.
