  1. It’s a pardon for any crimes he committed in the last 11 years. I think it IS what he knows – about Joe.

  2. Statistically arrogant people like Hunter will continue to commit crimes going forward. It only a matter of time before he’s back in the system.

    1. Not anywhere close to the same thing. Biden said he wasn’t going to pardon his son. My guess is he probably forgot he ever said that.

  3. Promises made, promises broken.
The pardon covers 11 years, including all the violations of FARA and the violations of the MANN Act, just to name a couple.
Looks like 10% for the Big Guy worked.

  4. Hey, Joe was just doing what he can to pad his effort to take over the #1 spot on the list of worst presidents from Jimmy Carter.

  5. So Joe Biden is giving zero-f@#$s. Aside from bailing out Hunter, there has to be a bit of middle finger to Obama, Pelosi, and the rest of the people who forced him out by providing cover to Trump for future pardons.

  6. Why does this surprise anyone? Yes, when Stumbles was directly asked if he would pardon his dope-head son, he responded that he would not. Well, he lied. Just as he has lied regularly for over 50 years to the American public.

  7. It is interesting to watch this post. If one would do a fact check they would find that to this point in Joe Biden’s presidency he has issued an astounding 26 pardons. Trump during his first 4 year term issued 237 total pardons. Among them were his son in law’s father, the infamous sheriff, Joe Arpaio of Arizona, 7 former congressmen ( all republicans), Paul Manfort, and the list could go on and on. Trump has made the statement that he will exonerate, with pardons, those who have been convicted of the insurrection that took place prior to his previously leaving the White House. Oh and let’s not forget that Gerald Ford pardoned Richard Nixon.

Yes there are plenty of past presidents, both Dems and Repubs, who have issued many more pardons, I guess you can call it the spoils of office.

I personally believe both major political parties misuse this power. They both need to understand that grandstanding today may lead to finger pointing tomorrow with reprisals that may not be glamorous.

Future presidents need to be stripped of this power by handing it over to a non-partisan group who are not committed to show any political favoritism. I doubt that will ever happen though.

    1. Ah, but you conveniently left out that Joe was asked specifically at least a dozen times about a pardon for Hunter, and each and every time he responded “no”. Trump has always been straight with his intentions about pardons.

  8. Aw, yes, Trump is straight, he just does not answer the questions. And he did exonerate South Dakota’s own republican espionage spy, Paul Schaeffer as well.

This whole game of presidential pardons is nothing more than a Monopoly Game, with a lot of “get out of jail free cards”. What makes it even worse is when those individuals pass “Go” they also get their money.

I am not protecting Biden nor am I supporting Trump, as some so willingly do. I am saying the whole political game of pardons is just wrong, no matter who is pardoned or who is president. An independent, non-partisan group needs to vent these pardons to remove the political gamesmanship currently being practiced by both parties. I guess until that happens the finger pointing and absurd political pardons for felony crimes committed against the United States Government will continue. Both parties are guilty of high crimes themselves if they continue to let this happen. Congress could do something about if they chose to do so, but they won’t. They are all attempting to protect their own, but by doing so they are making it worse.
