Youngberg Announces Candidacy for District 8 Senate

MADISON, S.D. – Jordan Youngberg of Madison has filed his nominating petition to run for the South Dakota Senate, representing District 8.

“I couldn’t think of a greater honor than to represent a district I care so much about,” said Youngberg. “The time has come for me to get involved and I look forward to providing a conservative, pragmatic voice in the Senate.”

Youngberg currently serves as manager of High Plains Apache, an implement dealership in Madison. He is a graduate of Dell Rapids High School and also owns a Madison-based pest control business.

“I can’t wait to get out and talk with the voters of District 8,” added Youngberg. “There are a lot of important issues to discuss and I’m looking forward to a positive campaign.”

District 8 is comprised of the counties of Lake, Miner, Moody and Sanborn.

  2. Mr. Youngberg has my vote! I have known him for a few years now and he has a positive impact in all aspects whether it be his work or community. You won’t meet a more genuine and congenial person who will listen to everyone’s opinion but at the same time isn’t afraid to state up front what he believes in. I want someone in office who will stand up for what he/she believes in without “beating around the bush” about a topic just to get everyone to vote for him/her. I have faith that Mr. Youngberg has the caliber and confidence to more than fulfill this position and duties for the benefit of our community! I know he will go above and beyond for us – He is what we need in District 8 people!!! YOUNGBERG FOR OFFICE!!!

  3. I believe he would make a great senate for district 8, due to the fact he has great leadership skills which I have witnessed more than once on different occasions. Along with his outstanding ability to communicate with many different people and get the job done!

  4. Youngberg has excellent communication skills which is always needed! He is a driven man who can make things happen and stand up for what the district really needs. He is extremely ambitious and will push for the best results. I know Youngberg will do the absolute best he can if chosen for Senate for district 8!

Youngberg would be an excellent senator due to his ability to communicate well with community members, as well as, relay any information or concerns he may gather from community members. Along with many other positive qualities, Youngberg is trustworthy and reliable, when he claims to accomplish something, he always finishes through.

  6. Ever since I can remember Jordan Youngberg has never done anything half way. He goes all out and puts every effort into what he feels passionate about. I have no doubt in my mind that if elected he will shoe the same all out effort in representing the people of district 8.
