Rounds has been a fundraising powerhouse in the previous 9 months, and is topping it off strong. To a $546,190 effort, the Senator added another $53k via the NRSC Senators Classic, a fundraising process that is classified as a transfer instead of a contribution (showing up in total receipts on line 16) for total of $605,706.
This comes against expenses of $208,608, leaving the Senator $1,395,617.91 for his re-election effort, at a time when he has picked up a primary opponent, Republican State Representative Scyller Borglum.
And the race has only yet begun.

it’s a pat on the back from his fellow senators.
Formidable candidate. Money in the bank helps.
