Anyone else notice the SDGOP ignoring the Trump endorsement for Sen. Rounds?

Has anyone else noticed how the SDGOP’s social media has completely ignored President Trump’s resounding endorsement for Senator Mike Rounds since it happened 2 days ago?

Here’s the endorsement…

And what does the SDGOP choose to promote?

As those allegedly in charge of the Republican Party in the state, you have to wonder at what point they’ll get over themselves and start supporting Republican candidates?

  1. They’re also entirely ignoring Trumps backing of data centers/AI. Why? Because it doesn’t fit their personal agendas. This will be a very sad chapter of the SDGOP.

  2. They’re an absolute disgrace. While they sit in their little echo chamber, patting each other on the back, declaring themselves “we the people,” “constitutional conservatives,” and calling each other “patriot” every other second.

Just be done with it — burn down the party, and openly declare yourselves democrats again – we’re on to it.

    1. They are not Democrats and doubt they would have any desire to be affiliated with them. They are weirdos that used to way out there on the fringe and kept there.

      1. What’s ironic is Trump paved the way for the weirdos and wing nuts to become mainstream.

        1. it wasn’t Trump. It was the SDGOPs own bylaws and the failure of the central committee to close a loophole which allowed precinct committee men and women to vote for constitutional office candidates at state conventions. Trump had nothing to do with that, and many central committee members saw the train wreck coming years earlier, as candidates recruited crazies, anybody they could find, to get those precinct positions. As the years went by more and more of these recruits showed up, contributing nothing but disruption. They didn’t want to do any work, didn’t want to support the full slate of nominees going into the general election, and they really didn’t want to help out financially.

Trump didn’t need precinct committee men & women to win a primary, it was the constitutional officers who did. The only way forward now is to have all statewide candidates selected through statewide primaries, and take the nomination process away from the conventions.

        2. it wasn’t Trump who prompted the crazies to pass a resolution at the 2014 state convention calling for the impeachment of Obama, on no grounds. Huge embarrassment for the party. They also attempted a resolution to oppose the “militarization” of law enforcement officers; they were for defunding the police long before the Democrats ran with it. Fortunately that one got voted down.
The crazies showed up in force that year.
That was when lot of us realized we had a problem. The state central committee failed to fix it.

  3. Petty childish vindictiveness? 🤔
You mean like how all these nut jobs were behaving during the last primary election. Attacking good people with lies and slander. Got it. You need to sober up from all that cool aid you’re drinking.

    1. you left out how they behaved at the 2022 convention: didn’t want to pay for the convention, wanted to bankrupt the party or stiff the convention center, apparently, although Taffy Howard said the candidates should pay for it. The candidates were saving their money for their general election campaigns and didn’t step up.

Then they voted down the resolution thanking the outgoing chairman for his leadership, and almost voted down a resolution endorsing our own slate of candidates for the general election. The SDGOP came close to endorsing the Democrats’ slate instead.
Two years earlier, in 2020, they voted DOWN a resolution celebrating the Republican Party’s origins in the abolitionist movement and honoring Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation. So it shouldn’t have been all that surprising that having repudiated the party’s history, they were not going to support the party’s candidates either.

The party has been taken over by crazies who want to endorse Democrats, empty the coffers, drive away donors, and reinstate slavery. They are truly that insane.

    1. moron, there is nothing to bury.
If there had been anything incriminating, the FBI would have leaked it during the Biden administration. They had the files for years and never did anything with them. They would have turned them over to Robert Mueller, who said he was “unable to reach a determination that the President had committed a crime.”
