  1. I wonder if supporters realize that only three criminal cases have been filed in McPherson County this year and not a single Class 2 misdemeanor.

That hardly reflects the experience needed to serve as South Dakota’s chief law enforcement officer.

    1. I wonder if Fitzgeralds supporters know that he was found to have violated several ethical rules when running to be a judge, unnecessarily cost Lawrence Co. taxpayers millions of dollars by taking everything to trial (many of which he lost) instead of agreeing to plead deals, and didn’t just “retire early” like he told me on the phone, but would have been forced to retire due to age this summer, and left the courthouse a disaster when he gave only a few hours notice of this “early retirement.” Two former AGs, who know the type of person needed for this job, believe the Hoffman has what it takes. Thats more than enough for me.

Every states attorney in SD knows Hoffman because he is one of only a handful that they regularly go to for advice. To say he is lacking experience because of where he lives is an extremely shortsighted view.

      1. Not to mention, unlike his other opponent for AG, Hoffman hasn’t been publicly censured by the SD Supreme Court for improperly disclosing secret grand jury proceedings and publicly bashing a circuit court judge. Hoffman is the clear choice.

          1. I honestly don’t think Hansen will do it. He’d have to uphold actual laws that his loonies Don’t support. He’d fall out of favor with his minions. Hoffman is the only choice. He’s wicked smart when it comes to the law. Not afraid to challenge those that don’t agree with the law and make up their own interpretations. It’s why McPherson McCrazies hate him.
