ActBlue says voting for Brian Bengs will “build a historic Democratic Senate Majority”

From ActBlue, the Democrat fundraising platform.. apparently someone didn’t get the memo. Because they’re certainly under the impression that Brian Bengs is a Democrat in sheep’s clothing:

“We need your help to elect Brian Bengs and flip South Dakota, re-elect Catherine Cortez Masto and keep Nevada blue, and build a historic Democratic Senate Majority.”

I’d like to hear that explanation next time Bengs tries to claim he’s not running as a Democrat. (Or is he going to snap his fingers in someone’s face when they ask that?)

  1. This is clearly from 2022, that’s not his current logo and Cortez Masto ran in that cycle. It’s dishonest not to include that. Internal polling that bad?

      1. Seems like someone forgot to take it down. It’s clearly not from this election cycle, one of those candidates isn’t even running for anything. All this proves is that he ran as a Democrat which everyone already knew

        1. And he’s still a flaming liberal, using act blue and personally gives me the ickies. The guy is a fake. Pure and simple.

          1. You want him to code his own website to collect donations? Election software is partisan for no reason, you guys are just desperate to get gossip on him but none of sticks because it’s all stupid

  2. Anonymous commenters are desperate to deny that which is blatantly obvious: Bengs is a liberal Democrat running as an independent.

I mean just respect our intelligence.

  3. “I’d like to hear that explanation next time Bengs tries to claim he’s not running as a Democrat.”

The first commenter gave you that explanation already. This was from 2022. We all know he previously ran as a Democrat. Jeesh.

    1. Zero chance. Zero chance.

If I had a quarter for every time you declared that someone has “zero chance” of winning, I could buy a stiff drink and forget about all of the other lame comments you’ve made.

      1. As of September 25, the South Dakota Secretary of State’s office said it had received 2,525 returned ballots from registered Republicans and 2,247 walk-in early votes from registered Republicans; 1,764 returned ballots from registered Democrats and 1,606 walk-in early votes from registered Democrats; 845 returned ballots from independents or other parties; and 767 walk-in early votes from independents or other parties. Nothing in those numbers screams trouble for Rounds.

        1. Nothing in those numbers screams anything.

I am not saying Rounds will lose. But he could. Saying he has “zero chance” of losing… that’s ridiculous.

  4. has anybody asked this so-called Independent whom he will support for Senate Majority Leader if he is elected? Will he vote for the South Dakotan or that other guy from New York?

  5. It’s so crazy, how different he is interpreted by people. I know a lot of Dems who think he’s too libertarian to vote for. Seems to me like he is so flip floppy that he won’t get a lot of votes from anybody.
