Hot off the press, the Christine Erickson for Mayor committee has released their fundraiser invite for the big event with her brother, legendary NFL kicker Adam Vinatieri happening on September 15 in Sioux Falls.
Check it out, and make plans to attend this event for the person who is likely to be the next Mayor for South Dakota’s largest city in the election happening on June 2, 2026.
Christine will be tough to beat. She has been a Force with SDADA, And hard to to replace. I’ve seen first hannd how impactful and effective she was in her role there, it will be an intersting race!

Just doing a quick count and some math, this one event raises $70,000. Campaign costs are way too high for common man/woman to afford to run
I agree and all of these events have most of the same names.
I will gove credit to the people who donate to candidates. They are invested in winning.
If outsider candidates want to win they need people who will write checks to their campaigns.
Nietzart’s donation and apparent endorsement is a strong statement. He served with her on the City Council and didn’t always agree. He clearly sees something special in her ability.
Are you sure Nietzert isn’t just bucking for a City job in an Erickson administration?
