Johnson Targeted by Biden DOJ’s Arctic Frost
Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Dusty Johnson (R-S.D.) released the following statement regarding Operation Arctic Frost in which President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice officials obtained and reviewed the Congressman’s text messages. The investigative team improperly reviewed the messages of 44 Members of Congress.
“My text messages obtained by Jack Smith’s rogue investigation team shows an unprecedented level of carelessness for the rule of law and the constitutional separation of powers,” said Johnson. “I’m grateful to the whistleblowers who brought these acts to light and to the Senate Judiciary Committee for continuing this Congressional oversight.”
Johnson will review the classified information obtained by the Justice Department.

The U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary released evidence that the United States Department of Justice Special Counsel investigation lead by Jack Smith improperly obtained and reviewed text messages from Members of Congress from across political lines.

The Biden administration didn’t treat the Department of Justice like a personal legal hit squad. Prosecutors followed evidence, not marching orders from a political war room. Now we’re watching MAGA figures cry “weaponization” while simultaneously trying to bend the DOJ to their own ends—and in doing so, they’re telling on themselves.
If federal investigators were looking into MAGA-aligned representatives, the obvious question isn’t outrage—it’s motive. What triggered that scrutiny? What conduct raised enough red flags to warrant federal attention? And more importantly, why are the loudest voices demanding transparency suddenly uninterested in releasing the facts behind it?

Smith doesn’t care about the Bill of Rights and unreasonable, unconstitutional seizures of Dusty’s personal communications, but apparently Smith is investigating congressional cosmetics.

Jack Smith’s investigation was totally blown out of the water (no pun intended) by Judge Cannon YEARS AGO. It was a broad sweep of an investigation which had two active fronts: Trump’s alleged and anecdotally-supported mass mishandling of top secret documents, and his efforts to undo the 2020 election, which he lost to Joe Biden.
Whining about it now with this DOJ weaponization intentions against Jack Smith seems pretty darn small. The national security issues raised by the documents case as well as allegations of foreign election interference would have warranted scrutiny of phone messages in any direction the investigation uncovered, activity certainly covered by Homeland Security laws we have in place.
It’s a little disappointing to see the Congressman move to the puppet strings of this administration as it continues to care not a whit about who gets in the way of each petty vendetta.
I hope Smith can be the next president’s Attorney General.
To be clear, Trump’s Thursday tv rant was to press the case he wants to make to justify derailing each state’s election process. THIS ongoing “probe” into Jack Smith’s access of Congressional texts is part of Trump’s desire to get some illusion of LEGAL PROOF of Biden weaponization of the DOJ, so he can loop back around and finish the business on grabbing that $1.776-Billion J6 Reparation fund which got shot down on the IRS lawsuit settlement scam. The smash-n-grab never stops.
They attacked police for hours. They tried to stop America’s presidential election from being officially certified. But Dusty is concerned that someone MAY HAVE LOOKED AT TEXTS as part of an investigation into the matter?
Of course they would look into who the White House was communicating with. They were the ones being investigated. They assembled the mob and sent them to the Capitol at the exact time of the certification.

Dusty got 3rd in the primary trying to be all things to all people. Good to see he’s still going in that direction. I’m sure this approach will help greatly when he loses the primary for thune’s seat in two years.
Dusty was stone silent when the president pardoned hundreds of assaults on law enforcement. Silent when the president pardoned various billion dollar fraudsters. Silent when the president pardoned billion dollar drug smugglers. Silent when the president started a forever war without congressional approval. Silent when the president threatened military action against Greenland.
But by gosh, Dusty is not gonna sit silently, when his texts get read! A man has to stand for something, after all.
So what you are complaining about was that Dusty was doing his own job, staying in his own lane, instead of grandstanding on the steps of the Capitol, wearing camera ready makeup, ranting about Presidential pardons and accomplishing absolutely nothing?

Those who report on Arctic Frost only mention the people in Gov and Orgs they targeted AND NEVER mention the 100s of regular American citizens that were targeted to strike fear in Trumps base including for MURDER such as my son Israel to “punish”me, his father
When an insurrection is alleged, a special prosecutor has to investigate wherever the clues go. You may have felt “intimidated,” which would be more terrible if everyone was lying about Jan 6 to cover up the election being stolen from Trump.
HOWEVER – hundreds of top level people looking into Jan6 have determined that an insurrection happened, really actually happened. The convicts were wrongly pardoned to enhance Trump’s story about him being framed. Smith was authorized to do what was done. All of MAGA in complicit in Trumps crime because of blind support of Trump. But if you want to take it all personally, fine.
