Dusty for Governor Campaign rolls out yet another commercial in rotation

Before the dust has settled on the rollout of their third commercial, Team Dusty has rolled out a fourth commercial promoting the Gubernatorial candidates’ support and plans for education for South Dakota:

Not a lot of moss growing on the campaign’s advertising effort, as they continue to roll out a full spread of communications.

  1. Little Dusty looks like a doofus in these commercials. He does not come across as serious. I understand wanting to be approachable, but these are over the top. But he’s still 10,000% better than Tuby Doeden.

    1. All Dusty has to do is what Mike Rounds did in 2002 – show everyone he understands all aspects of state government from top to bottom, understands kitchen table issues, and has a vision and enthusiasm for OUR economic development. That’s how Rounds skated past Kirby and Barnett while they were locked in the death match cage (two go in, one comes out). Those two lost their way.

        1. Can you at least provide some substantive critique of their points? These lazy, throwaway insults add nothing to the conversation.

      1. We want the fullest possible confidence is my point. That’s all I was saying.

        1. Call it what you might……..I was voting for Dusty from the jump. I had grandparents and elderly uncles and aunts on the fence. After watching Doeden’s commercials and Dusty’s commercials, they are voting for Dusty.

  2. When is Larry Rhoden going on TV? Does he have any commercials?

I got a text from Jon Hansen the other day. I’m guessing that’s all he can afford.

    1. Rhoden is running his campaign off the state budget (state time, state plane, etc.). That is why he doesn’t have a commercial.

  3. I like this. I like the ads with his family. I like genuine Dusty.

I’m a bit off-put by the “ranchy” commercials. The chore coat, shiny work gloves, leading a rancher through the door of his own barn, the overly dirty pickup…it’s just too much. It seems inauthentic.

  4. Dusty is by far the best candidate. Listens to people, looks at all good ideas and works for the betterment of people. Two of the candidates are laughable and the other one is just along for the ride. A vote for Dusty is a vote in the right direction.

  5. Cringe ad. Wooden performance. Inane platform.

Far better than anything the competition will put out, so a win’s a win.

    1. If my 7 year old said that, I might chuckle. But thats because it’s a comment a 7 year old would make.

  6. Some of the comments are laughable. Is Dusty nerdy. Yes. Does he own it. Yes. Do I care what my governor looks like. No.

    1. They are more obsessed with looks than brains. Thats what got us brain dead barbie and the rest of the Maralago faces.

  7. I am waiting for Doeden to roll out an ad telling us he’s so Trumpy, he’s going to bomb Minnesota and annex North Dakota.

  8. Ah, another commercial with broad platitudes about how electing Dusty will make everything better.

Also another commercial short on specifics on how Dusty is going to achieve the things stated in the commercial.

This little weasel should never be allowed near the governor’s mansion, even for a tour as a civilian.
