On the edge of the primary election, Glacial Lakes Energy has sent out a letter to their shareholders encouraging their vote for specific candidates in the District 4 and 5 legislative primary elections.
And in particular, they had harsh words for one of South Dakota’s worst legislators, District 4’s State Representative Dylan Jordan:
“Some candidates publicly claim they support ethanol, yet their actions and comments tell a different story. Dylan Jordan, District 4 candidate for House of Representatives, has publicly stated more than once that he does not like ethanol and will not use it, while also saying he “won’t do anything to hurt it.” In an agriculture based state like South Dakota – where communities and families depend on ethanol – that should give voters pause.”
It could be worse. At least Dylan didn’t pledge to bring legislation to have the military attack them.

grudznick notes these fellows don’t care for Mr. Deutsch much either, he of the bonecracker caucuses. Ms. “Dr.” Garcia does not need their endorsement, as it is understood by most that “God” is endorsing her. Don’t waste your vote for “Dr.” Garcia, she doesn’t need it.
Anyone in the Republican Party should know to vote the opposite of what they say. Evil corporation pushing to take rights from landowners. Who they oppose is for the people and not for special interests.
Uninformed and brain damaged voters took out a bunch of solid legislators in 2024.
Hopefully that will be remedied in 2026.
Solid, you mean sheep right?
Evil corporations? That line of thought is straight out of the liberal playbook and has no business being part of the Republican Party.
These are South Dakota investor owned, value added businesses.
What they have done is create a tremendous amount of wealth for the entire state where everyone benefits.
Celebrating success and progress used to be a Republican value until the Jon Hansen/Amanda Radke types came along and hijacked the party wanting to drag us back to the 1800’s.
Josephine Garcia is too busy pretending to be a physician and telling people that blood transfusions cause “turbo cancer.”
Evil corporations can hardly compete with such lunacy.
Some folks want to call me liberal. I’m not. I’m the same middle‑of‑the‑road Republican I’ve always been — back when the party still believed in governing instead of auditioning for cable news clips. I’ll talk to anyone, left or right, as long as they’re operating in the same reality the rest of us live in..
But common sense has Jordan, Garcia, Schaefbauer, Soye, Doeden, and half the Black Hills standing in the rain looking straight up. I hope to hell my home communities don’t make the same mistake twice with these two. Once was enough.
There’s always taters and gravy for you at the Conservatives with Common Sense breakfasting (not to be confused with some who pretend to be ‘common sense conservatives’ but are not.) F’n CwCSINOs.

So the District 4 choices are the worst legislator in SD or the guy who is obsessed with trans people’s genitals? RIP
Poor ol Mark Schmidt is unable to satisfy his shareholders without the support of taxpayer dollars funneling in. Try to facilitate economic growth without your hand in taxpayer back pockets. SMH
