So hearing more through the grapevine on my report of the Tornow Law Office going dark, and Tornow turning in his law license.
I’m told that Tornow announced at the Minnehaha County luncheon yesterday that he allegedly retired from his law practice to concentrate on running the Minnehaha County party.
He does know that doesn’t pay, doesn’t he?
That’s not what lawyers do when they retire. Well, that’s what they do when they retire voluntarily…
Oops! Typo… I meant to say that’s NOT what they do when they retire voluntarily. Every lawyer I’ve ever know that truly retired let everyone know for months they’d be retiring — and throw a big retirement bash to celebrate! They don’t slink away in the night.
I suspect there is more to this than meets the eye.
How do you know it doesn’t pay? Maybe he can raise enough money to pay the executive staff?
They can vote themselves honorariums if they want to. The Minnehaha County financial statements might get interesting.
They’re gonna need a lot more rummage sales to afford that. Hey, maybe they can have a bake sale, too! Lol!!
