Attorney General & Congressional hopeful Marty Jackley has an interesting rally/fundraiser tomorrow in Sturgis where I wonder how the crowd is going to mix when you look at the host list:
On one side you have hosts like Kip & Kristi Wagner, Brad “Murdoc” Jurgenson and Senator Randy Deibert. And on the other you have Senator “California” Carley, Texas transplant Karen McNeal, and Majority Leader Scott Odenbach. It’s at the Loud American in Sturgis tomorrow from 5-7 PM, and the public is invited.
Although, I’m sure this isn’t the first time they’ve had different gangs in the Loud American the same time wearing their colors. (I’m sure there will be a law enforcement presence in the room to keep the peace.)

Wow- that is some broad-based support. Similar to Sioux Falls where he had everyone from Rep. Sue Peterson to Mayor Ten Haken.
Jackley has it right. We can disagree on an issue but that doesnt mean we have to hate each other.
Good for Marty. He’s bringing people together.
This is what candidates running for a new office accomplish, they bring people together. Just wait until 2028 when that list is half the size.
We can hate California Carley, though. He’s the worst.

Carley not knowing that his own SD National Guard deploys to foreign countries. Strike 1. Jackley jumping in bed with Carley and telling him he would defend the 10 commandants bill if it went to court, duh your the AG, you have to defend it. Would have cost our state ungodly amounts of money if passed. Strike 2. Rice not being able to form complete coherent sentences. Strike 3. Don’t get me started with Odenbach (tax payer money to subsidize his own kid’s private education).
