I’m sure District 4 must be proud. Of course, you read it here first, but their State Representative has the top story on the KELOland website:

“Republican Rep. Dylan Jordan had a point-of-order for decorum made against him after he said “I think this is a pretty simple bill. I didn’t realize I was in Minnesota’s Education Committee, so I’d just like to say I’m disappointed.”
and..
“Of course the employee would be employed by the school, which would make them not liable, but I’m a realist,” Greenfield said. “I’m here to tell you that somebody’s going to be liable, especially if a child is inadvertently killed in a school. They’re not gonna just say, well, that’s too bad, we’re not liable.”
The bill was sent to the 41st day in a 12 to 3 vote.

I’m embarrassed for my District.
In my lifetime, District 4 has almost always been represented by dignified statesmen — people like Harold Halverson, Robert Weber, Loren Christianson, Pat Eidsness, Larry Diedrich, Tim Begalka, Jim Peterson, Val Rausch, Steve Street, John Wiik, and Fred Deutsch. You didn’t have to agree with them on every vote to know they respected the office and understood the responsibility that came with it.
Perhaps the lone exception was Kathy Tyler.
But Dylan is a new low.
I consider him worse than Tyler — worse than anyone who has represented this district. He behaves like a child, and he certainly does not represent District 4 with any degree of dignity, seriousness, or decorum. This job is not about attention, posturing, or lighting fires for clicks. It’s about representing people well.
District 4 deserves better than this.
I can’t wait until I have the chance to vote for someone else
If you consider Wiik and Deutsch statesmen I’d argue the problem is voters such as yourself who set too low a bar in District 4 to begin with.
Jordan’s election didn’t happen in a vacuum, so don’t give us the “this isn’t what district 4 is.” He is exactly what your district stands for as the ballot box doesn’t lie.

Liz May is a big supporter of Jordan.
Representatives Jordan, Manhart and Rice voted no on sending this bill to the 41st day.
Dylan posted on his Facebook account that he stands by his comment. As if we needed any further proof that the man is unfit for public office at any level, let alone the state legislature. As a resident of District 4, this is beyond embarrassing. District 4, and all of South Dakota, deserves better than this…than him. We deserve better than any and all members of the Freedom Caucus—never before has there been a collection of such fools in Pierre.
Shame and insults, with every Freedom Caucus member inspired to be their own best Trump to “get things done.” Color me impressed.
If you’re going to be an idiot, you should at least be useful.
That will teach you ‘publicans to gerrymander Demos from running. Your gene pool has become highly polluted.
Ms. Tyler was an outlier. Insaner than most of the libbies, Ms. Tyler was an extreme outlier from the District numbered 4. Duetsch, a bone cracker caucus member so he doesn’t really count. The bone cracker caucuses do rule as puppet masters over the larger gathering of the legislatures.
At some point you must look to the Speaker and Leader and question their lack of leadership. They set the standards or rather have failed to set any standards. It is shameful what they have allowed the House of the People to become. I’m sure Mr. Jensen just laughed about his “punishment”. What a disgrace to the citizens of South Dakota.

I couldn’t have written it better.
Always interesting that the SDGOP actually thinks that the Feedumb caucus is somehow not them.
Look in the mirror folks.
It’s you.
It’s you.
It’s you.
Oh, The Truth Hurts……
He’s immature, unprofessional, and the committee should suspend him.
