Yeah!!
He acts weird.
I couldn’t agree more. I watched the video and it took him forever to get around to his point. The camera work is terrible. Then when he brings someone in, even Rhonda cannot help. I am happy to hear Chic-Fil-a has chosen Sioux Falls, but I believe there had to be a better way for the announcement.
I love Chic Fil A, this may be the best thing mayor Paul has done or announced.
One day it’s Chic-Fil-a. The next day it’s COVID-19. Oh, how a day makes a difference. Our innocence has been lost. How I miss the simpler times when a mayor could have such a silly press conference, while the rest of the world was preparing for a fast and growing virus. But we all have our priorities, do we not? For some it’s leadership, while for others it’s merely a fast-food treat.
Are you suggesting our mayor has not done the appropriate steps to deal with the Chinese corona virus? While this is important, I do not see how it could take up ALL of his time. Sometimes there is good news too. Announcing something like the coming arrival of Chic-Fil-a is also one of the duties of the mayor. Maybe you could use some of your genius to deal fairly with the mayor.
Frankly, I think the Chic-Fil-a announcement was immature; and it might have been premature, too, given the shakiness of our current economy.
Plus, you don’t have to be a genius to know that COVID-19 was a serious problem in the US before this past Wednesday, when the chicken press conference took place.
Democrat Cuomo didn’t wait until Thursday to respond to this current health crisis, but I can’t help note that most Republican leaders in this country ignored the crisis to any great level until Trump spoke on it and gave his mafioso approval of it as an legitimate issue.
