More on District 4 candidates. Gary Hudiburgh for District 4 House campaign video.

So, there’s a campaign video out for Gary Hudiburgh for District 4 House, one of the candidates who will be running against Rep. Dylan Jordan.

Hudiburgh, who is boasting an endorsement from a labor union, and is a 2024 graduate of the Billie Sutton Leadership Institute is apparently running in the Republican primary, despite those resume items which are more typically found in a Democrat’s curriculum vitae.

Oookay..

  1. Some campaigns launch with vision. Others launch with… whatever that was.

A candidate owes voters more than flashy edits and empty buzzwords. If you’re running for office, you should be able to say why, what you stand for, and how you’ll fight for the people you want to represent.

This video did none of that.

South Dakotans deserve leaders who are grounded, transparent, and willing to talk about the real issues — property taxes, protecting our kids, strengthening small towns, defending freedom, and keeping government in check. Not vague slogans and self-promotion.

If a campaign can’t answer the basic question of “Why are you running?” — that’s a problem.

Voters deserve substance, not smoke and mirrors

  2. I checked out his social media pages and this candidate appears to be more towards being normal which is refreshing! Union membership and advocacy goes well beyond party affiliation.

Didn’t see anything where Gary Hudiburgh is interested in Chemtrails, shooting down aircraft, removing seatbelt laws, promoting the school voucher scam, having a strange fixation with those who are transgender or being a creepy genital checker near public restrooms/locker rooms.

  3. Let’s see if i can phrase this in a way they can understand:
Make decorum, respect and dignity great again
