PAC’n Heat continues their posts…

Deb Peters’ PAC’n Heat group is continuing a series of facebook posts pointing out some of the problems with the current crew in charge in the South Dakota Legislature:

And the election continues to roll on…

  1. I listened to the forum on KXLG between Vilhauer and the Wicked Bitch of the East the other day.

She was ranting about how decorum was lacking for the past two sessions.

Glen was commenting on scorecards when Garcia interrupted him with snide remarks.

So much for her standing on decorum.

  2. This AI slop is disappointing. It has a “Lincoln Project” feel. The hospitals, chamber, Dusty, etc. should ask for their money back. This isn’t persuading one primary voter in SD.

    1. Lincoln Project’s AI deepfake of a Paul Harvey essay they wrote, “God Made A Dictator”, is probably the best use of deepfake so far in the history of deepfakery.
God DID send Trump to test us, and until he’s thrown out of power, we HAVE failed that test.

  3. Those posts are hilarious! If not for the creativity then for the apoplectic response from the far right Guilty of the same yellow journalism. The irony and hypocrisy are staggering.

  4. These attack ads are so underhanded and misguided they’re more likely to help the opposition. Whoever wrote a check for this PAC should be asking for their money back.

  5. I think her targets are pretty whacky, but the tactics here are not going to influence many. This is a very ill-conceived effort. I think voters are more likely to be appalled by the campaign here vs. the target. It comes in very harsh. Factual and/or funny would have been better I think.

    1. Apparently, you’ve never seen some of the attacks this nut job group has launched on their fellow legislators….they are just usually postcard happy so it’s confined to the district of the good legislator being attacked. You also haven’t been exposed to some of the door to door tactics that include outright lies and other false information in races up and down the ballot. Consider yourself lucky. If anything this attack puts things into daylight. And if you can read with any kind of comprehension these posts attack votes. Do they show the people as backward? Yes — based on how they voted. Get a grip. The results of these votes would be incredibly harsh — like what about the poor librarians these loons targeted for criminal punishment. My friend, a school librarian spent a stressful few weeks last year thinking she may have to find a new job rather than continue being targeted and harassed by these goofballs over books that weren’t available to children in her small library. She had already had angry calls and emails from people who didn’t even have school kids. She was terrified they’d plant some kid to check out a specific book through interlibrary loan so they could get her arrested. That’s the kind of people these “pretty whacky” people are….people need to know

  6. Had to laugh when Sue Peterson tried to claim that she was being equated to a sex slave….I’m pretty sure no one would ever dare. I didn’t see anything that made any of them look desirable.

How about the idea that the regressive legislation she and her fellow targets have sponsored are what make other women, family and most importantly children vulnerable.

  7. Ms. Peters needs to print these and mail them out, like the ones insaner than most do! The cartoonist is fabulously better than the one on the Scout newspaper.

    1. Indeed. Makes grudznick feel almost warm and fuzzy inside for Mr. Jensen and Ms. (er…*cough* Doctor *cough*) Garcia.

  8. I just love how these whacko legislators can dish it out all day long – calling fellow Republicans “RINOs,” railing against the “establishment,” and proudly embracing disrespect and chaos – but the second accountability shows up, suddenly they can’t handle it.
“PAC n Heat” isn’t making anything up. It’s literally just showing their own publicly documented votes and actions. If seeing their own record laid out for voters is that painful, that’s on THEM.

Funny how the people who scream loudest about accountability are the first to panic when they’re finally held to it. And honestly? I love watching it.
