The landscape of the 2024 elections just completely rewote itself in one fell swoop as President Biden has announced he is dropping out. From Fox News:
President Biden announced Thursday that he will suspend his 2024 re-election campaign amid mounting pressure from his Democratic colleagues on Capitol Hill, top donors and Hollywood stars after a disastrous debate performance last month.
The unprecedented announcement came as an increasing number of Democrat lawmakers had begun to publicly call for Biden to step aside and the party’s leadership reportedly was engaged in efforts to convince Biden, 81, he could not win in November’s general election against former President Trump, the 2024 GOP nominee who Biden defeated four years ago to win the White House.

a person can laugh all they want at “biden waiting too long”. trump commands a machine that was built to destroy conventional politicians. biden has drained a lot of that machine’s energy and pointed it at all the wrong targets, many of which are moot.

grudznick believes both of those fellows, the Messrs. Trump and Biden, presidents each, meet almost all of those criteria you list, Ms. enquirer. There are many others, putting these fellows more decrepit than grudznick hisownself, that moot them both and require a 3rd party to step up.
trump botched the areas i awarded to biden, and biden never descended to the depth of failure trump reaches daily on the failure list. i thus continue to disagree.

it’s 1968 all over again. The incumbent POTUS drops out, a competitor named Robert Kennedy is eliminated (different methods, similar results) and the DNC will give the nomination to the uninspiring vice president who loses in November.
The Democratic presidential primaries are a joke. It doesnt matter who wins the most votes in the primaries, the Machine will choose the candidate. Biden was a place holder. If his name had not been on that ballot,, it’s highly unlikely Harris would be the presumptive nominee. ..
