The other day SDGOP Chairman (and former 32-year Democrat) Jim Eschenbaum was the featured speaker at the Hughes County Republican Party luncheon.
And I found out what a feature this speaking event was, as one of the attendees was nice enough to send me the audio, where the chairman rambled on for a half an hour. Including this audio clip, (which I animated against the graphic I use for him, so it’s less boring).
As was noted to me “He spewed off about toning down the political rhetoric (which I agree) but then 2 minutes later was talking about starting a civil war if the govt comes after gun rights.”
It’s going to be a long election season.

Long, but very interesting. The governor put a five-hundred pound feather in his hat yesterday. Wonder how Dusty’s going to counter that achievement.
By congratulating Governor Rhoden on a job well done and moving on. While I am personally very happy this project is moving forward, I don’t think it scored as many points with the general public as one may think it did.
The Rhoden Rhangers will all be sporting a new colorful patch. Mr. Dusty, as swell a fellow as he is, has no such patches. Mr. Dusty is mostly hoping right now. The Rhoden Rhangers rhemain in rheserve for now. So grudznick is told, anyway.
Really good positioning, though. You have to wonder how primary voters are going to respond to the “let us get the ball across the finish line” argument. I see a lot of the people who were laughing two weeks about Rhoden being tired and not able to get anything done. These same people are complaining today that he did get something done.
All Dusty has to do is schedule events after 2pm and the Rhangers will be fast asleep or at Dennys.

The right is doing to our 1st ammendment what they claim the left is doing to our 2nd ammendment. Trump issued an executive order to redefine full auto and ban bump stocks after the las vegas shooting and was the first president in a long time to threaten our 2nd ammendment rights. Yet, they still try to scare their gullible supporters to believe in the boogeyman left while they erode your rights.
meanwhile, it seems stupidity is now covered by the First Amendment, and the BOR can’t fire a professor because he is too stupid to teach, so Michael Hook is back on the job, I bet he uses his own feces as fingerpaint. We won’t be able to get rid of Eschenbaum either, no matter what he says.
