SDGOP promoting attack on Senator Rounds on facebook

Jim Eschenbaum’s version of the South Dakota Republican Party is on Facebook tonight using party resources to promote an attack on Sen. Mike Rounds by the clowns in the local Free-dumb caucus:

Well, that’s kind of funny. Last I knew the freedom caucus was not affiliated in any way whatsoever with the Republican Party. At the same time Senator Rounds is one of the top officials for the party.

Does this mean Eschenbaum will be posting Democrat attacks against the Senator next?

I hope the party is not looking for a donation from the Senator anytime soon.

Maybe the SDGOP central committee should add an item to the agenda for this weekend’s meeting. Requesting the chairman’s resignation.

  1. but they are right about funding for PBS
It’s ridiculous to spend taxpayer money for 8 1/2 hours a day of non-stop children’s programming, followed by 10 year old episodes of Antique Roadshow.

    1. Rounds seems to be concerned about the stations on the reservation going dark and money for the EAS being cut too low. Legitimate concerns, especially as tornado season kicks into full swing.

      1. yes I am sure everybody on the reservations wants to watch POV tonight, it’s the stories of three women affected by a Chinese industrial zone in Ethiopia.
Later, they can watch “Skydiving after 60,” about a group of seniors trying to break a skydiving record.

So what’s your favorite PBS show?

I seriously doubt that any of the people who want the government to keep funding this actually watch it. Ever.

        1. No stations = No EAS = Potential for delayed evacuations/sheltering during severe weather.

          Frontline always a good watch.

    2. Most of the money from the federal side goes to SDPB programming, so consider legislative coverage and local sporting events. Now, I understand the legislature wants to work in the dark since they are determined to fight the will of the majority of the residents, but I still believe in transparency, and I think most people in the state would agree with that.

  2. Eschenbaum is a joke. Openly supported Obama two elections in a row. AFTER he passed Obamacare. What are we doing with this guy as chairman? This isn’t the Republican Party any longer.

  3. It’s time for real Republicans to scream to kick these weirdo fake gop out. EischObama has no idea what a Republican is

  4. South Dakotans did made their voice loud and clear in the 2025 legislative session when the legislature restored SDPB’s funding due to the overwhelming support of people all across the state. Thousands of calls and emails to every legislator.

  5. Seems to me Rounds is representing ALL of his constituency. Not just the loud and obnoxious far right lunatics. Good for Rounds!
