Hot out of my e-mail box, Senator John Thune is headlining a Rapid City fundraiser for the re-election campaign for Mike Rounds for Senate:
The fundraiser includes hosts such as State Senator Jeff Partridge, State Representatives Mike Diedrich & Tim Goodwin, Pennington County Sheriff Kevin Thom, former Attorney General Marty Jackley, Ted Hustead, and others.
Wow. On the one hand that’s a heavy roster. On the other hand, it kind paints a clear cut picture of what Scyller refers to as ‘The Establishment.’
A heavy roster full of empty minds of far right uneducated and ignorant Trump lemmings. I can see now why the progressive left hates Trump so much.
I just LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE how people call politicians they don’t like “establishment”. Define it and the behavior instead of throwing around terms. Rounds2020!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It paints a picture of about every diverse GOP supporter group in Pennington County. Broad support
I agree with Sen. Schoenbeck. If this is the “establishment” then every Republican in the State is part of the “establishment”. I also count at least one Rhoden and one Nelson supporter from 2014 on this list.
Right. Solid point. Agree with Sen. Schoenbeck. Public support is broad and deep.
I’m not saying none exist but, in my district, I’ve met no Republicans — conservative or moderate, established or outsiders — who dislike Senator Rounds. Frankly, I’ve yet to meet a single Republican planning to vote against him in the primary. Not all neighborhoods are the same, so your mileage may vary.
SJB seems a bright, passionate lady but I can’t see her path to victory.
You now have met one. Rounds is a corrupt finger wagging wind talker who can’t even understand simple concepts based on our dealings with him. We have nicknamed him the “moron”.
yep every Republican is stupid….so says Heidelberger almost daily…so dumb they keep winning elections over the brilliant Democrats
One of the best fellows ever, Mr. Estes, and his pretty young lady Ms. Johnson, are both on the board. That is good news.
I hope Ms. Borglum likes toast.. that’s what she will become in this race quickly..
Fear from the left side of Republican Party ? What a canard in an attempt to make Mike a reasonable centrist. Or, is the infiltration that perverse ? Then again, a moist finger to evaluate a census question about citizenship could be telling.
Borglum’s the one who needs a moist finger, or a weatherman to know which way the wind blows. Apparently she has neither. She could have stayed in the state legislature and distinguished herself there for a few years before launching a campaign for higher office. And her “we need more women in politics” thing is sexist and ridiculous.
