Sioux Empire Better Government Committee hosting summit on Friday the 17th with huge number of guests

From my e-mail box, the Sioux Empire Better Government Committee is hosting a better government summit this coming Friday in Sioux Falls. And looking at it from a Republican lens, it looks like the Lincoln Day Dinner we didn’t have in Sioux Falls earlier, because they wanted to bring in a goofball instead of driving people to support our legislators who want South Dakota to be a better place than they found it.

Check it out this Friday night!

  1. A whole night of hearing people say they are conservatives but this is why they are against the conservative policy

    1. Exactly!
A list of “Who’s Who” in the social club which is republicanism in the region. Specializing in laundering of money from government tax coffers to the pockets of many in the club (aka “Walk Through Plan Sponsors”).

  2. Good to see some big names stepping up to headline an event like this rallying support for quality candidates. If voter turnout bounces back from its 2024 low, Crabtree looks well positioned to have a better caucus in Pierre.

  3. Another reason Erin Tobin won’t win. Locals are coming out in the papers exposing her connections to anti d21 interests.

      1. Not jokes. Reality. You should try it sometime. Prominent influential people in Winner SD are coming out against her. More Voita signs than Tobin signs in D21.

        1. There are like 2 Voita signs in D21, and Tobin signs everywhere. When it is revealed that Voita voted for a tax shift to ag land and against critical access hospitals, well she is going to go down in flames. She doesn’t represent her district.

  4. My first question is ‘what exactly does this mean’? Peeling from Anon above, “an event like this rallying support for quality candidates”; is that what it’s about? I’ve spoken to people listed that have no idea what it’s about. Not sure I care but casual wondering has me still wondering. And sponsored by Dan Kippley and the list has me even more wondering especially because I couldn’t even pick the guy out of a lineup. Soooo, who’s really behind it and what were these subjects told about this? And what might they APPEAR to be supporting that they really may not be. Guess time will tell.

    1. it was about electing pro-business, pro problem-solving candidates, and voting out the ivermectin-soaked insane clown posse which won’t be satisfied until the lights go out, because shutting down the grid is the only way to stop evil data centers and electronic vote tabulators..

Some of us are not interested in being Amish, you know.
      It was a good event.

  5. A group gathering under the guise and promise of better government, composed of those who represent most of which has been broken in government in South Dakota.
