From the Dakota Scout, it appears that State Senator Mark Lapka is being accused of drunk farming after driving his combine into signs and a tree:
State Sen. Mark Lapka faces a drunken driving charge after allegedly driving a combine tractor under the influence late Tuesday in McPherson County.
While McPherson County Sheriff David Ackerman was not available when contacted by The Dakota Scout Thursday morning, the McPherson County State’s Attorney’s Office confirmed the Leola farmer and first-term legislator has been charged.
A video obtained by The Dakota Scout, which multiple sources confirmed was connected to the incident, appears to show a combine entangled in a tree after striking roadside stop signs and a power pole.
That’s kind of a big expensive piece of equipment to be booze-cruising with.
There must be something in the water, as the word out west is that everyone’s least favorite lobbyist for Young Americans for Liberty, Anthony Mirzayants, is also facing charges of driving under the influence.
Except it wasn’t on a combine. Just an arrest for a plain jane DUI in Lawrence County.
Sounds like somebody needs a good cane poking.

McCrazy County just doesn’t disappoint!
Another case of do as I say, not as I do.
Another legislator who after getting elected got what benefitted his interests and then pulled up the ladder.
He just needs to find out what law firm Gary Cammack used to weasel his way out of his DUI.
A real proud Hall of Famer…..and still a Drunk Driver.
