Taffy Howard’s Congressional Candidate Financial Disclosure has finally been posted to the website for the Clerk of the US House, and it gives a glimpse into the financial holdings of this Congressional hopeful:

Basically, it lists pages and pages of mutual funds, a few rental properties, and shows most of her income is from passive sources.

Frankly, if Taffy were to actually win the primary against Thune, that would put the general election in jeopardy. The DNC would see it as an opportunity. She doesn’t have the name recognition and the democrats might actually find an opponent for her. They would have to flip over a bunch of rocks but they would still find one.
Any Republicans truly concerned about the balance of power in the US Senate could put their money and time into helping out in Florida, Pennsylvania, North Carolina or Wisconsin. Wisconsin isn’t even that far away; we could charter a bus for CRs & YRs to get there.
