The Entire South Dakota Constitution Party is DISMISSED. At least their dueling federal lawsuits.

I’ll get to more on this, but here’s a great one to start your weekend.

Judge Lange and his assistants deserve a lot of credit on this court decision, if just for keeping this whole mess straight as they sorted out the lunacy that arose from the dueling Constitution Party lawsuits from the Lora Hubbel and Terry LaFleur factions of the now defunct political organization:

  1. What happened to Dr. LaFleur suing for 100 Million dollars or was it 1 billion?

    1. Terry’s mental/spiritual condition would sadden any reasonably compassionate person, but so would what he and Lori Stacey have done to several hundred registered members of the CPSD. I just read Judge Lange’s entire ruling, and it left me with two questions.

Did anyone besides Lori Stacey’s handpicked “chairman” even show up when that “faction” held its convention?

Other than Gordon Howie possibly misunderstanding and misrepresenting his conversations with Shantel Krebs, did anyone in the rest of the party do anything wrong?

    1. I lost count of how many he has lawsuits against. Noem? Jackley? You? A Pizza Hut delivery driver for being late? He is the Doctor!

      1. Ya, I didn’t get to be part of one of his lawsuits. I really ticked him off when I told him I felt left out he didn’t include me. lol

  2. I assume a shadowy cabal of conspirators “kangarooed” him out of his pecuniary damages. But, all kidding aside, will some kind person in this fellow’s circle of acquaintance get him professional (psychiatric) help? Things could end badly. Sorry to be melodramatic — I don’t want to ruin anyone’s weekend. Nevertheless, these nutty situations can & often do go sideways. Here’s hoping Dr. LeFleur & everyone else suffering find the compassion & help they need. God bless.

  3. I am glad the Constitution party is gone.

It has never won an election that I know of in this state; it is clearly dysfunctional and filled with people who could not win in one of the other parties-mostly the Republican party, which only helps the liberal Democrat party win.

    Good riddance.
