Thune: Back to Regular Order
“[D]espite their recent actions, I know that a number of my Democrat colleagues do share Republicans’ interest in seeing regular order restored. Well, now it’s time to act like it.”
WASHINGTON — U.S. Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) today delivered the following remarks on the Senate floor:
regular order = complaining and blaming everything on the minority opposition party….
We may have bigger problems than military budgeting. Democrats put out a video aimed at military members and this is what Trump had to say about it last night:
“This is really bad, and Dangerous to our Country,” “Their words cannot be allowed to stand. SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR FROM TRAITORS!!! LOCK THEM UP??? President DJT” And he wrote this… “SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!”
What was Trump talking about? The six elected Democrats were making this point:
“Our laws are clear: You can refuse illegal orders. You must refuse illegal orders. The American people need you to stand up for our laws and our Constitution.”
And the President of the United States objected.
