  1. Here’s the thing though, it is illegal for trump to do this. Only Congress can appropriate funds. Thune “should” know this but he is apparently so far up something that he just does what he is told. Some “leader”

    1. You might want to look at 10 USC 2214 and Section 8005 of the appropriations act. Or just continue to follow the left stream media and be wrong. The authority is there.

    1. It’s not up to the President to allocate funds. Just because the DoD may have certain funds not yet spent, they’ve already been given a specific use by Congress.

      1. It is almost like the president is the Commander in Chief and in charge of the military. It is also almost like there is a law allowing the transfer of funds if permission is given in the appropriations act. And crazy enough, it is almost like that permission was given in the appropriations act. 5 minutes of research and you would have figured this out.

      2. As Anon @11:01 has stated, yes, President Trump can re-allocate funds if needed when the appropriation act states that he can, and it did.

        However, I find it very curious that the libs are having a temper tantrum that President Trump is re-allocating funds and screaming ” they’ve already been given a specific use by Congress.” A specific use by Congress, much like the $1B that Stumbles was using to extort the Ukraine to fire a certain prosecutor? The VP doesn’t have that kind of statutory authority unless delegated to him by the President…Obama. Where was the lefty outrage then?
