From Facebook.. apparently some legislators spend too much time reading what their crazy aunt posts on Facebook:

Yeah… That’s not real:
Neither CBS News nor “60 Minutes” ever issued any such guidance. Further, a Facebook post is not a legal document. The act of copying and pasting a message on a user’s Facebook feed does not alter a user’s agreement of the company’s terms, privacy policy and cookie policy.
And..
The language Facebook “is now a public entity” was one clue that the posts featured an old rumor. Facebook held its initial public offering (IPO) on the stock market in 2012.
Snopes has reported on numerous variations of this same rumor since that year. The copied-and-pasted posts are part of a long-running hoax.
For further reading, we previously compiled a list of rumors involving Facebook “copypasta” — internet slang combining the words “copy” and “paste.”
And try not to be as gullible as you might find some of our legislators.

Groan thats my Legislator….. ngl that makes me even more want someone else to represent us in Pierre. Failure after Failure for both her and Soye. Smh idiocy is what is representing District 9 right now.
I hope you realize then one in that legislature is a threat to Einstein’s place in history.
We are all *shocked* to see this.
You should trust everything you read on the internet and hear at the hair salon
This is the first thing I have seen her be concerned about that didn’t have to do with a hair salon! Maybe we should celebrate and call this progress.
He loves the poorly educated. What did you think that would bring?
Based on this, this is why it is not surprising that things like Ivermectin for COVID and Chemtrails are taking hold with some of our legislators.
She must have been reading the National Enquirer at the hair shop
Why are the prettier ones always the ones insaner than most?
it is because they are prettier that they get elected. Too many voters choose the most physically attractive..
This is not as ridiculous as it sounds: thousands of years of the most high-ranking alpha makes getting their pick of the most beautiful women have resulted in the aristocratic classes being better-looking than the unwashed masses..Since it took brawn to acquire power and brains to keep it, beauty and brains rose to the top of the gene pool.
Hence, the selection of candidates based on physical appearance.
As the saying goes, beauty is skin deep but ugly goes clear to the bone.
With that I requote one of Rush Limbaugh’s Undeniable Truths: politics is show biz for ugly people.
This makes some sense but does not reasonably explain how grudznick, who has a visage more gruesome than most, is so desired by the ladies.
You need to google the “hot crazy scale.”
stop…
As my former Republican legislator who was a long time public school educator used to advise everyone to take the time to authenticate and substantiate before you share a meme or post. Unfortunately many Republicans and especially MAGAs chose to ignore his advice and continued to post rumors and crazy conspiracies which ended up costing the party the election. Rather than be chair of a powerful committee he ended up being the ranking member.
The problem is they don’t cost them the election, and instead we have a mess of incompetence and ignorance metastasizing the rest of the state from Pierre.
At this point I doubt anything can be done to keep the ship from sinking.
It would appear so.
Is she supporting Toby or Jon? Can’t remember but it has to be one of them.
Jon. She and the Senator from 9 take their orders from him and Karla Lemps. The other one who reps 9 has shown up maybe to a handful of days this session then disappeared without any explanation.
But said rep is running again I’ve heard. In session this year 5 day? 6?
Par for the course for the SDGOP these days.
At least it’s not as bad a some for the dreck Hansen, Odenbach, Carley, Ismay, Jensen, Howard, Lems, Voita, Garcia, Manhart, Randolph, Karr, Jordan, Pischke, Alyward, Hughes, Auch, Baxter, Novstrup, S. Peterson, Sjaarda, Nelson and Soye put out there.
It’s like critical thinking is somehow a bad thing. *facepalm*
(Oops!)
It’s like critical thinking is somehow a bad thing. *facepalm*
Critical thinking verboten during the Herr Frump regime
No actually this is true. Bill Gates told me.
Ok – just in case anyone needs the reminder:
If you are using an online platform and they are not charging you, then you are NOT the customer, you are the product.
Facebook, and Meta, and Twitter, and X and make their money by selling advertisments to put in front of your eyes, and selling data and information that you post online, and selling AI services trained on your data.
Yes, that sucks, but if you don’t like it, delete your social media account.
