I think we know who will be dropping out of the race for Governor first.
State Representative Jon Hansen just posted a report that might be encouraging when you’re a candidate for the State Legislature, but whoof.

Hansen was able to pull in $188,771 from his allies and the Pizza Ranch circuit.. but check out this burn rate – He’s spent $134,878.01 already. He should have skipped wrapping the camper, because all he has to go into 2026 with is $53,893.97. Who on earth thinks this is sustainable? Jim Eschenbaum?
Just think about it – he’s walking into the next several months with 1/10th of what Governor Rhoden is reporting. One-tenth.
This isn’t a political campaign. This is a campaign headed to the trauma unit, because it’s bleeding out.
Maybe he has cash coming from a dark money PAC or something? But from the looks of it, this poor showing would send most people home.
Money is never an issue if your running mate is karla lems.. she owns around 10,000 acres in Lincoln County. Why do you think he chose her in the first place. Not to mention why Karla hates property taxes so much.

10,000 acres she’s willing to SELL? Doubtful. In order to be LTG? Salary of what? Assuming your assertion is true, why would she sell given all the signs?
I honestly feel bad for the likes of Hansen and Hagaard who think they’re known just because of a few interviews by KELO. They then think everyone knows them but it’s nilch, Rhoden was the same way as LTG but he didn’t ‘think’ he was well known. There’s a difference.
Waiting for the narrative from Hansen of ‘I was just in it for the name recognition’. Same for Doeden.
Who in their right mind would sell land to run for governor. Get real.

Dang, Jon siphoned off nearly the same amount last cycle from the abortion amendment campaign. I wonder what campaign he’ll pay himself for next cycle.
Ah yes, Mr. Hansen would plunder his own cause before any other, and so it is fitting that he shall be the first to cast it aside-his campaign ending not by foes, but by his own unworthy hand.
He and Lems can’t be gone from the House fast enough.
with almost all our elections decided in June, you have only to win over half of the voters who bother to show up for the Republican primary, less than 50,000 people, about 5% of the state’s total population.
You don’t have to be sane to convince 5% of any given population to follow you anywhere, even if it’s off a cliff.
