  1. Wait, I thought she was team Doeden? She was in all of Doedens stuff last summer, sporting his gear?
    Another flip flop, Amber?

    1. Last summer? Months before Rhoden announced? That’s not flip-flopping.

I mean, personally, I wouldn’t think she would be for Doeden but his lies seemed believable way back when. Not to me but… Was she one that got money from him?

  2. Wow. Working for Dusty in 2024, then in Doeden’s social media posts and events this fall, and now in a Rhoden ad. Does this woman have no shame?

  3. I wasn’t going to judge off the fact that she was a pageant girl, but she seems very fake. It is one thing to change who you support, but another to be in an ad.

  4. This ad is great! I wish the public understood just how easy it is for a campaign to go negative, and how equally difficult it is for a campaign to stay positive. In this race, one candidate is lying about taxes, and another mailed deceptive ads hoping to fool voters into thinking they’ve been endorsed by others. Amazingly, what we see is a flood of candidates refuting these “endorsements.” I worked with Larry. I know first hand his commitment to facts or accusations and truth over lies. Larry could have trashed his opponents, but he didn’t. Larry could have lied to win, but he didn’t. Larry decided to do argueably the hardest thing in politics. Tell the truth. Vote for Rhoden.

          1. Whoever wrote this can’t read or has the blinders working. Rhoden has spent what little money he has smearing Dusty.

            1. Apparently, you can’t see or hear. His ads have NOT been focused on Duster. Review his finance reports. I’d be willing to bet < 10% of his ad budget is on negative advertising. 90% on positive and/or results.

  5. Amber is a Georgetown law school graduate. To even be excepted into Georgetown law school is amazing. It’s discouraging to read so many inappropriate comments. I’m sure not one of you could do the same.

    1. At Georgetown, or most high-schools in South Dakota, they would say “…accepted into Georgetown law school.” Just sayin…

  6. Ms. Hulse is from the District Numbered 30. And she is still better than Ms. Frye-Mueller, so try and show a little respect.

    1. grudznick does not know. The teevee ad said she was a Senator, but did not say if she was lawyering with or without a lawyer license. The legislatures could do without more practicing lawyers, so I hope she is not. Pretty sure Frye-Mueller also is not a practicing lawyer.

      1. Hulse and Fry-Mueller are poor choices that have supported wackadoodle bills. It is another example of a completely broken political system in South Dakota.

    2. Last time I checked shes barred in both Virginia and South Dakota and works for Harmeet Dhillons law firm. You and a few others on this thread would benefit from a simple google search.

  7. Have I suffered a head injury? Hulse has been supporting Larry since the beginning, has she not? Didn’t she sponsor one of Larry’s fundraisers some months ago? I am fairly certain she never endorsed Doeden.

        1. Why else would she drive all the way to Aberdeen and be at the Wylie Park Historic Pavilion and be at Doeden’s campaign kick off in person along with California Carley and Taffy Howard? Was Phil Jensen there too?

  8. Amber will go whichever way the wind blows and she can get on tv. She is nothing but a stair climber and is worse than Noem and her obsession with herself.

  9. Nothing lures out the anonymous keyboard warriors quite like a story about Senator Amber Hulse. The jealousy is showing. Her posts draw dozens of comments while most others barely make a ripple. Love her or hate her, she clearly has your attention.

  10. This sincere ad is done by two men who have known Larry all his life, his wife, and a legislator who understands the tax system through the legislature. It is as true and honest as you will ever get from any of the other ‘politicians’ running who will say anything to get elected. Amber is a bright girl who is learning from her first stint in her own politics. It is encouraging to see her able to grow and be willing to change her mind after learning why Doden is not a good choice for Governor. She was born and raised in western South Dakota, so she is rooted in the most common sense state in the nation and understands that a man’s word is all you really have. Larry’s word actually means something and is the only candidate for Governor that can be trusted.
