Another victim of Sen. Pischke’s facebook attacks sounds off.

Senator Tom Pischke – whom I believe sits on the SDGOP Executive Board – is catching more heat today over his attacks on facebook against Republican Women.

Today, the woman who was on the receiving end of the social media insults which triggered his earlier censure by the Minnehaha County GOP is publicly speaking out on her treatment & experience in the face of Senator Pischke’s more recent sexual innuendo and harassment of a Republican woman on facebook.

Let’s not forget the 2024 incident which earned him the nickname of “Sticky Tom,” and a ban from the floor of the House of Representatives, was directed against a female state representative.

I hate to ask, considering the source.. but does Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene have a point?

Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Georgia Republican and steadfast supporter of President Donald Trump, has publicly criticized her party over its treatment of women and has said the GOP is out of step with the priorities of the Make American Great Again (MAGA) movement.

“I don’t know if the Republican Party is leaving me, or if I’m kind of not relating to Republican Party as much anymore,” she told the Daily Mail.

She added that women in her party were “really sick and tired of the way men treat Republican women.”

Read that here.

The SDGOP might have elected the first woman to serve as South Dakota Governor in 2018.. but it seems like some people still act like it’s 1918.

  1. I think the majority here in SD may be embracing the extreme side more and more. It’s why Toby with all his money is doubling down on the MAGA messaging. Fox news saying Nazi ideology is okay. The polls must be showing either people are like this (sad), or they have been convinced the other choice is not possible. I’m not sure what the breaking point may be, but I hope we reach it to get our government to work in our best interest. This doesn’t seem to be the way.

  2. No one does anything about it, especially those who can. The GOP is weak and needs someone with strength to lead it.

    1. The current leadership in Pierre is pathetic. Hansen, Odenbach, Karr and Melhoff will excuse and defend this behavior. Choosing to attack the messenger.

      1. There is zero leadership. We see deflection, lame excuses and silence instead. South Dakotans deserve better than this!

  3. Being a sexist ogre does not make one a man.
Toxic masculinity is not cool nor is being a prancing flake.
Being a dignified gentleman is being a real man!
Our society has lost its manners.

  4. It’s embarrassing. Even more so, that with the current leadership at the helm of the SD Legislature and the SDGOP, no disciplinary action or basic accountability will be upheld against Pischke. So disgraceful, disgusting, sad excuses for men will continue to hold power and wreak havoc on South Dakota’s decorum and credibility.
Remember when legislators were respectable and respectful?

  5. He has no respect for the institutions that he represents nor the responsibilities that were placed with him. At several events that I’ve been to with his (unwanted) presence, he is entirely underdressed for the occasion. It seems like he is trying to emulate Senator Fetterman’s lack of decorum and now he’s going on this rampage against women. Make sure his voters know, donate to the proper campaign when that time comes around.

    1. I’m not entirely sure but hasn’t he endorsed Hansen/Lems? If not he’s a boot licker nonetheless. The comment he makes about someone else’s wife should’ve been condemned by Hansen and Lems immediately. The fact that it wasn’t tells me all I need to know about them. This had better resurface many times this election cycle when candidates endorsed by these buffoons, try to claim the high road.

      1. I’m not able to vote for anyone who supports Tom. Tom should and needs to resign.

  6. I’ve overheard lobbyists talking about how easy it is to persuade him to vote for their interests. Hope he likes being their little puppet.

  7. I think Pischke and Manhart actually like to be noticed. It doesn’t change their ability to get votes from the base and the only way they get noticed is by being idiots. Pischke gives no shits if a woman or man thinks he is a totally jack$##. He is that “good” of a person.

  8. This whole incident makes me even angrier about SDRTL giving him money to defeat Jordan Youngberg in the primary.

    1. They stained their “Christianity” and literally threw their morals out the window with their money in the primary. John Hansen lead that effort.

Anon 5:31: It isn’t the modern GOP from the top down. The normal GOP doesn’t think that way, but are just trying to figure out how to get other normal people to vote. People are still good people, it is just the dumb ones are louder.

      1. There are some of us working on this . We are the middle of the SDGOP. We are working to get normal people to engage in the process but not for self gain or advancement. We are working For A Better South Dakota . ( FAB-S.D. On facebook) . Come check it out .

  9. Unfortunately, Tom is a no-shame, any press is good press, kinda guy. He’s a lost cause, and at this point the people that are still making the choice to associate with him are almost as bad.

  10. So just to recap — “Sticky Tom” Pischke is once again making headlines for his ongoing harassment and inappropriate behavior toward Republican women.
And who continues to support and defend him? Chris Karr and Jon Hansen.

If this is the kind of clown foolery they stand by, what does that say about their leadership?
Are these really the people we want representing the future of our party — or recruiting and endorsing candidates?

The SDGOP needs to decide if it stands with women, or with the guys who treat Facebook like their personal playground for bullying and innuendo.
The silence — or worse, the support — from so-called “leaders” speaks volumes.

    1. I’m not defending him but his views on women are so deplorable. However just a reminder that he was the only Senator not to censure Senator Julie Frye-Mueller back in 2023(Reminder the vote was 33-1). Would he have voted to censure her now based on his viewpoint today?

      1. Not only did he support JFM, he tried to have the rest of the state senate prosecuted over the issue

  11. The SDGOP was strong, effective and powerful before the last 6 years when the freedom caucus (more libertarian than Republican) brainwashed people and convinced them to run for ‘everything’. The weak minded, drama focused and simple minded people have taken over our SDGOP and Legislature. They accomplish nothing and have no leadership skills which is why they can’t raise money, or make good decisions. Note this email drama, name calling and junior high behavior. The real Republicans would never act this way. These newbies will turn our state blue if they don’t go back home and crawl back in their holes. South Dakota would thrive if we go back 8 years and let the “establishment” who knew what they were doing take it back. They are who made us strong, not these fake Christian fake conservative gang members.
