Busy week in court. Pischke, Shad Olson hearings scheduled this week.

Looks like this is court week for some accused to be bad actors in the political class.

State Senator Tom Pischke is scheduled to have a warrant/initial hearing tomorrow (7/7) at 9AM in criminal circuit court in Minnehaha County on 2 charges of filing a false or forged instrument in violation of SDCL 22-11-28.1, a class 6 felony.

These would be the same charges that the Minnehaha County GOP has requested Pischke resign from his county party offices for.

This court process is just getting started, so it may be dragging out for months.

Speaking of dragging out for months, former Rapid City news anchor and kind-of political campaign manager Shad Olson is scheduled to be back in court out west on violating court orders related to him pleading “no contest” to charges of misdemeanor domestic abuse that were pled down from felony aggravated assault.

Olson is due to appear on a status hearing this coming Wednesday (07/09) bright and early at 8:30 AM in Meade County on this case which had it’s second birthday back in February.
Stay tuned.

  1. These mugshots show the energy of two guys who just found out the gas station roller dogs were sold out.

  2. Both gentlemen had a high-and-tight coiff for their pictures, and I hope they see their barbers and touch it up before the court hearing because judges like that.

  3. I do pray for Shad. Not that I want him living in my basement or anything if he gets released but you know what I mean.

  4. Doedite Shad Olson and Toby from my perspective have much in common. They both are tellers of tall tales and extreme in their politics. If convicted Shad would most likely be pardoned by Governor Toby and be appointed South Dakota Reich Minister of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda.
