Charter school supporters playing dirty, sending text messages with no disclaimer

Apparently, some charter school supporters are out there playing dirty tonight.

Text blasts are hitting phones trying to jack up voters to bang on their legislator on the issue. Except the problem is they are not just anonymous, they lack any legally required disclaimer.

Someone ought to do something about that. In addition to doing the opposite of what some of the most scurrilous political operators out there are encouraging.

  1. This goes back to those that took over our party unit and others across the nation that make sure everyone knows they are a Christian yet their actions were anything but Christian. They will use every underhanded tactic possible to gain power and push their self serving agenda without any consideration to the greater good. No surprise here.

  2. No surprise there. Given Ms Beving’s history of going out to legislative coffees and pretending to be a concerned local, I’m eyeing SD AFP or whatever astroturf charter group they’ve backed as likely culprits.

    1. Oh, you mean Jennifer Beving and AFP, who can’t help but be out of touch with South Dakota at every turn? Shocker.

      1. Is there anything other than hate for public education on SD AFP’s platform. They have turned into a single issue one trick pony.

  3. Wouldn’t expect anything less. Sounds like something Lauren Oleson Nelson or whatever her name is would do.

  4. Probably from the Doedon camp. Looks like the sleazy crap he was doing in the last election cycle.
