A criminal investigation is underway in Minnehaha County against the person or persons who conspired to file false precinct committeeman and committee woman forms after the filings were flagged by the auditor, but currently, there is no official information out there about the subject of the investigation, as well as how long it might take until a criminal indictment is handed down:
“I can confirm that I had to turn some forms over to the sheriff’s office for investigation,” Anderson said. “And that’s about all I can say at this point, because it is an ongoing investigation.”

Minnehaha County GOP Chairman Korry Peterson said he is aware of the investigation into the potentially fraudulent filings and hopes that, if wrongdoing is confirmed, it is prosecuted.
“It’s just crap that something like this is going on,” he said.
There’s nothing official on who the subject of the investigation is just yet, but there is one name – a familiar one – who keeps coming up.
If true, we can only hope that they are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for committing an act to defraud the voters of the State of South Dakota.
Korey should have his Minnehaha GOP Board Member Tom Pischke look into this. We need a crack sleuth like Sen. Pischke to figure out who would do something like this.

This election will prove we prove we have too much on the ballot already. The down ballot votes will be poor.
A proper fellow shouldn’t be in a rush to vote. You only get to do it so often, so you should savor the experience. Sit there and ponder, color the dots thoroughly, and take note of the comers and goers as you are deliberate with your precious choices.
If you only want to color the (R) dot, then you are putting some of the ones insaner than most into office. If you only want to color the Governor dot, then only color the Governor dot and rush off to DQ or whatever other business is more important.
If you’re going to move the constitutionals to the primary, you’ll need a very organized ballot measure committee because, unless Dusty succeeds in ousting a bunch of far righters, there’s no way the legislature will do it.
Great reason to get rid of the archaic precinct people positions. They cause nothing but trouble and in my time living here, not a singe one has ever contacted me about voting, which is their job.
Pischke’s lifelong record of wrong doing people will
start to catch up to him. He thinks he is invisible and the dude is gonna end up on a 60 minute special.
I wish we could place bets on this one, because I already have about five names in my head from people I’ve heard were asking around trying to get filings done. Guess we’ll see if the investigation matches the rumors.
