Anthony Mirzayants, former Lobbyist for the Texas-based libertarian student activist group Young Americans for Liberty is apparently now spending his time out on facebook trying to organize pressure campaigns against members of the Minnehaha County Commission over flock cameras in the area.
Mirzayants had recently taken after Minnehaha County Commissioner Cole Heisey on flock cameras, and today, he’s going after Minnehaha County Commissioner Dean Karsky, trying to adopt the tools of the far left and taking to facebook to organize campaigns to harass elected officials by staging protests at their private residences:
This is the same lobbyist who at the time ended up on the poke end of Arch Beal’s cane during the 2025 legislative session after being caught sticking his phone in the window of the Senate Caucus trying to film it:
At the time, my correspondent noted that more than 25 people at the time were apparently willing to testify to boot him from the lobbyist corp, noting that Mirzayants had allegedly threatened them. With my correspondent noting at the time that they were “not sure what the South Dakota legislature is more united on; our appreciation for veterans or hate for Anthony.”
Not sure what exactly he’s trying to accomplish, as I’m sure he’s going to be as effective in Sioux Falls as he was in Pierre.

Are you using taxpayer dollars to instal these cameras and use them to compile a national database of individual profiles with absolutely little to no oversight or regulation?

I did a Google search of Mr. Mirzayants. It brings up pictures of Dylan Jordan; that is all I needed to know.
Actually, there may be a Sioux Falls city ordinance that prohibits doxing/protesting in front of an elected official’s home…
Mr. Mirzayants, if you are a breakfasting sort of fellow, would you consider being a speaker at the Conservatives with Common Sense breakfast gathering in the medium future time period? We meet on Sundays for brunch, at our scheduled rotation of establishments, and many of our members have questions about these Flocks.
Be advised, there are some fellows with canes, and some might be considered more agressive than Mr. Beal and tend to swing, not poke. But your breakfast is covered by the CFCS. All you can eat, typically, except for dessert. Mind your Qs and don’t be sticking your camera around and you will be fine.

Its a losing battle here in South Dakota, the sheep do whatever the party leader tells them to do, they don’t have individual values. If the party leader says Flock is good, we will have it. I knew it was only a matter of time before MAGA would embrace the invasion of privacy. I guess I’m a leftist now too!
yep, everybody who has put up security cameras around their homes, to see who is stealing tools out of their garages, whose dog is killing their chickens, and who the porch pirates are, they’re all sheep.

Cameras are everywhere. It seems pointless to complain about public flock cameras when you probably drive past by hundreds of privately owned ones every single day..
The Boston Marathon bombers were identified by the images captured on privately owned security cameras. The owners of those cameras cooperated with law enforcement. Deal with it.

Everyone now has a camera & video recorder on their phone. Pandora’s Box has already been open, for years now. It’s far too late to try closing it now.
Phones are voluntary. Being profiled for simply stepping outside is not. I bet you would’ve fit in just right with the Gestapo, NKVD, or Stassi.
