Governor Noem Signs Executive Order
PIERRE, S.D. – Today, Governor Kristi Noem signed an executive order pertaining to the Amendment A litigation.
Executive Order 2021-02 ratifies the ongoing litigation regarding Amendment A, brought by plaintiffs Colonel Rick Miller, Superintendent of the South Dakota Highway Patrol, and Kevin Thom, Pennington County Sherriff.

And Noem asked Miller and Thom to file the lawsuit, except that’s not what she said when the lawsuit was first filed. She is completely disingenuous.
Yep. Per the RC Journal:
Ian Fury, Noem’s spokesman, said in a Nov. 23 email that this wasn’t the case.
“Gov. Noem did not ask Col. Miller or Sheriff Thom to bring the lawsuit,” Fury wrote.
Don’t forget that more people voted for Amendment A than for Noem.
I wouldn’t count people who vote to legalize dopers as a positive.
That would be the majority of South Dakotans. Positively.
I wouldn’t count people who vote to re-elect noem as positive.
Wait, she is in the state to sign legislation?
She supports Trump while he tries to overturn an election… then she attempts to deny South Dakota’s vote.
And today, I see that she has the chutzpah to call the two new senators from Georgia “communists”? Who is the one trying to deny the will of the people?
So she openly lied to our faces while trying to subvert the will of the people? Noem has zero credibility. She has zero integrity.
Legally if those who wrote Amendment A fail to meet due diligence requirements and is declared un-constitutional then that is on them and not the Governor. Historically any petition drive that had anything to do with Marijuana always had by far the highest error rates than any other petition drive and failed. Gosh! I wonder why?
Except this petition drive didn’t fail and there were very few errors in the petition process. And the Amendment passed by a significant number of votes. Some of the smartest and most successful people I know regularly use marijuana. Much more so than those I know that regularly use alcohol.

Then the state bar and SD board of medical examiners bar must be set pretty low as well. But hey, feel free to make more assumptions. They’re the best kind of “facts” to argue.
Wow super bizarre! Another Pierre Politician calling the voters hoodwinked, dum-dums. Never would’ve seen that coming. Fool me once (youth minimum wage following IM14) shame on you, fool me twice (repeal of IM 22) shame on me, fool me three times, hey wait a second!

I think the significant fact here is that she lied to South Dakotans about her involvement in the fall. For the life of me I can’t understand why she did that.
