The lobbying group Americans for Prosperity and Governor Larry Rhoden are partnering for tax forum events according to social media posts popping up, where the Governor will be discussing his plan for property tax relief:
Americans for Prosperity also happens to be where his son, Reggie Rhoden, is working as the group’s Regional Engagement Director, after serving as the Executive Director for the South Dakota Republican Party.
I’m hearing there are other AFP/Rhoden joint events planned, with another one said to be coming in the Dakota Dunes area.
More to come.

Last year, Trump turned the federal government over to billionaire contributor Elon Musk and his troop of misfits. Now, the governor wants to join forces with billionaire Charles Koch’s AFP.
Is it any wonder that the “tax cuts for hard-working families” that these politicians propose, overwhelmingly favor the wealthiest Americans?
Always… follow the money.
The greatest grift the Trump movement pulled off was persuading a bunch of angry working class people that their issues are caused by the poor and immigrants and not the wealthy who continue to fleece them. Stare over here at these poor people buying soda with taxpayer dollars while we hand billions to millionaire landowners because of failed trade wars.
Rhoden is so uninspiring that he needs to partner with an outside group to get people to his events? Yikes.
This dipsh*t from Union Center actually praised
Kristi Noem last night.
That should tell you all you need to know.
There is a group of the Rhoden Rhangers having a tough time with this AFP nonsense stuck in their maws. grudznick is just sayin…
AFP is pretty successful at selling a narrative that never delivers for its followers, yet it still has followers. We are repeating the same crap we did in 2008, cutting domestic spending and having it go overseas to fund war (except it used to be called defense back in 08′), we will see major negative economic impacts, regardless of how the books are cooked at the Fed. Then AFP’s job is to blame anyone other than those who actually did the actions to cause the collapse. Then it’s the job of their followers to repeat and believe the crap.
George Orwell said in his famous book, 1984, “But if there was hope, it lay in the Proles”. This reality is known by the manipulators who control the proles, yet never deliver any results, just rhetoric. If there is any hope for them (and us) it relies on them recognizing reality over rhetoric, but we haven’t seen that happen here in the US, have we?
Oh, the echo chamber will be extra echoey at this AFP event. Also, well done to AFP for hiring the Governor’s kid. Very nice!
