Governor Larry Rhoden is hosting a meet & greet campaign event in Brookings this next Monday at the SDSU Research Park for those so inclined, as we wind down the longest primary contest in State History.
Toby Doeden had an event here this week as well, but you had to sign up to find out the secret location. Which after seeing it, it looks like the free food and drink event was at Cubby’s. I’m not sure why that was a state secret. If I see an invite, I typically post it. But without a location? It’s a campaign event at the local sports-bar eatery, so I’m not sure why they wouldn’t tell anyone.

I wonder who Toby decides to attack that comes to this gathering. These personal attacks are against everything South Dakota stands for. I’m hopeful and optimistic our great people will elect Governor Rhoden in a couple weeks!
Well, if you have to be in Toby’s Club to get to go to one of his campaign events, how do we think state government would run under his leadership. Doesn’t appear it would be very inclusive. “For the People” appears like it would just be a campaign catch phrase.
Evidently The Black Sheep Republican’s Katie Hoffmann non-stop holding the Doeden campaign’s feet to the fire has been right on target. A number of the Doeden campaign core supporters have responded with atrocious, vile attacks and threats not only against Katie and her husband who serves in the SDARNG but others who are speaking up and holding the Doeden campaign accountable for their actions.
