Speaking of fundraising, here’s one candidate who is doing well raising money inside South Dakota. Representative Taylor Rehfeldt is having a big fundraiser this Thursday in Sioux Falls, with a yuuuge list of supporters.

The fundraiser will be at the R Wine Bar from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Suggested giving amounts are $1,000 for hosts, $500 for co-hosts, and $250 for attendees. Those interested in attending or contributing can also make checks payable to Friends of Taylor Rehfeldt and mail them to:

Between the primary and this event, as well as leading the Republican Roundup in Sioux Falls, Taylor has been killing it in Republican leadership and fundraising!

Even more remarkably, Taylor and Dusty raised more than a million bucks to help legislators. She is a force of nature.
Taylor is not to be messed with.
Ah, fundraising is wholesome civic participation again. That was a quick recovery. 😏
Seriously, though: I don’t object to this fundraiser. I just think ‘who is funding candidates?’ is a useful question regardless of whether we like the candidate whose donor list we’re looking at.
Lots of those fellows are part of The Establishment, the fellows who run that town. Does young Ms. Rehfeldt even have an opponent? She’ll raise enough moolah at this antipastsfest she could be running for Congress.
Wow. She is on a fast track for leadership. In my opinion, sticking to your guns pays off, Taylor proves that yet again.
Not really, she isn’t that well liked in Pierre and couldn’t get leadership. She won a position by default and then promptly lost it.
She won her first election after the other person dropped out because they knew they weren’t going to beat her.
She tied the second one, lost the runoff, and still got more votes than anyone else in her camp.
And now she could end up in whatever leadership she runs for in the House.
So yeah, the reality is pretty different than what you’re making it sound like.
Exactly.
The powers that be are grooming her to run for senate when either John or Mike step away.
Count the number of lobbists of repute on that invite, then look at the number pimping up Ms. Williams. And grudznick, admittedly a fan of the lobbists, notes that Mr. Tordsen is along for the free ride.
This will get Ms. Williams free votes, from people who don’t like the free ride.
People don’t appreciate what Taylor Rehfeldt has been doing for the traditional Republican camp. She’s quite remarkable
She’s the best! Looking forward to the event.
I am told this event went very well. Taylor was a natural.
Wait till she’s on the ballot statewide for the first time. You guys are gonna have a massive wake up call once again. You idiots never learn.
Learn what?
I would like to know who gave her $675,000.00 as “Contributions from Out-of-State or Federal Political Action Committees” to her PAC she started, Republican Forward…. smells fishy.
