Is Senator Carl Perry flip-flopping his endorsee for governor?

Was that back on May 30th that Senate Assistant Majority Leader Carl Perry was happy to be in a picture as a special guest of 4% Toby Doeden’s for his announcement?

Yet, here’s Carl at the Brown County fair snuggling up with the 2% Hansen/Lemmings campaign in a photo today.

Don’t worry  – if you’re after a complete set of Perry endorsements, I have no doubt that Carl will have more opportunities to flip-flop a few more times before the June 2026 primary.

  1. Has Senator Perry ever been windsurfing? Time to re-cerate the 2004 Bush-Cheney Ad?

Cal Perry, whichever way the wind blows!

  2. Maybe the Senator will have his picture taken with all of the candidates. He is a fair person.

    1. Robert Arnold a SDDP candidate for Governor may be up there at the fair soon. A bright young candidate.

    1. I was there last night. He has a booth but no one was there except for his employee. Walked by Hansen’s and he had a small crowd saw Carl too. Tobin knows better than to show up at the fair cuz everyone in NESD hates him.

  3. If Carl can beat Washnok and the kitchen sink the donors through at him he can beat everyone.

        1. Get rid of convention. We need primaries.

Primaries. We need to get rid of closed primaries.

          We need higher turnout.

You need candidates who represent the district not the lobbyists and governors office.

  4. grudznick did not realize the leader of the Lemmings was nearly as tall as Mr. Novstrup, the elder. That is a particularly entertaining picture of some of the Aberdeenites. With nice T-shirts.

  5. Hot Carl will decide this race . Make no mistake, the train is running and you better get on it. The one he supports. I think.

  6. Did Toby Doeden (Dumpster Fire PAC aka Dakota First Action ) ever get fined for violating campaign finance laws? He donated quite a bit to Carl Perry’s campaign.
