Johnson Votes to Release Epstein Files
Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Dusty Johnson (R-S.D.) voted to release the Epstein files.
“Jeffrey Epstein committed heinous, evil crimes. I voted to release the Epstein files, which I’ve consistently supported for months,” said Johnson. “We all want transparency, and for any person found guilty to face the full force of justice. My heart goes out to the victims, and I hope proper action is taken to protect their identities.”
In September, Johnson voted to continue the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into Jeffrey Epstein.
The Oversight Committee’s investigation has:
- Released more than 65,000 documents.
- Released the transcript of Attorney General Bill Barr’s deposition in September 2025.
- Subpoenaed the Justice Department.
- Subpoenaed Bill and Hillary Clinton in August 2025.
- Subpoenaed the Epstein estate in August 2025.
- Subpoenaed Ghislane Maxwell in July 2025.

Have the files been scrubbed by DOJ under the orders of brown nosed Pam Bondi?
Of course they’re scrubbed. Duh!
Why didn’t Biden release these files? Why didn’t congress compel him to do it? All this scrubbed bs, is just bs. Im tired of liberals on this one, they had plenty of chances when in power to get these filed released.
Why didn’t Trump release them in 2019-Jan 20 2021?
Typical libturd…deflect.
Grand jury secrecy under Rule 6(e) is a federal rule that limits public release of grand-jury materials unless a court orders otherwise.
DOJ policy (and FOIA practice) includes withholding investigatory materials while enforcement or prosecution is pending, in order to protect fairness, witness safety, integrity of investigation, etc.
Public interest or change of administration do not automatically override these protections.
