  1. Choosing one of the weakest legislators in the legislature to be front and center shows the poor judgment and lack of political skills that will doom this campaign to an embarrassing, last-place finish. Surrounding yourself with tired old Yes people isn’t a winning strategy.

    1. Really? He’s not the guy running. They are long time friends and Mike is a great human being. Let’s check back about that ‘last-place finish’. Saving this link. 😉

      1. Are they still working against Marty also?

It might be time for them to drop Crabtree or for Larry to drop them.

Do they go all in on a guy who’s statistically tied or risk taking Larry down with a guy who’s down 52%?

  2. You know what I noticed?

The crowd at Dusty’s launch was young. Excited.

    Larry’s crowd was old. Tired.

    1. Thanks for the laugh! He was only ahead of Rhoden by 1 point and that was BEFORE Rhoden announced or spent $10. Toby can’t fool people for months. Days, weeks, maybe.

  3. Tobian’s latest video obviously reading from a script claims that Rhoden is traveling outside of South Dakota to get money for his run for Governor. It is amazing the amount of lipstick his paid out of state campaign consultants are putting on this swine.

Not a fan nor will be voting for Rhoden but this sleezy stereotypical used car salesman is once again pulling stuff out of his rear end.

    1. Calling someone a “swine” is an insult used to describe a person who is selfish, unpleasant, unkind, or morally corrupt. It is often used to criticize someone’s behavior and implies they are like a pig in their unpleasantness, such as being greedy or dirty. The term is considered an old-fashioned insult that can also refer to other negative human traits.

  4. As a concerned Republican, I’m wondering people are thinking? Does no one remember the nasty Mark Barnett/Steve Kirby primary that divided the party?

I’m concerned that if the “traditional” Republicans are split between two top-tier candidates, the door is left wide open for someone with deep pockets and a motivated base to step in and take us all by surprise. The campaigns may not get as nasty as the previous primary, but a divide may still happen. And if it does, the surprise winner won’t be someone with the experience Mike Rounds brought to the table.

We are on dangerous ground here. I hope I’m wrong.

    1. Rhoden has no chance.

He’s either too old or too selfish to understand the dangerous game he’s playing.

Sandy likes the glam too much.
