  1. Wow, huge endorsement from somebody that’s been on the role for..,like three days. Still, it’s funny that Doeden stuck his nose into the race and received no reciprocity.

    1. Her resume is a little bigger than that. ED of the South Dakota Autodealers, SF City Council, and was in the legislature.

    2. It is funny indeed. Mr. Doeden stuck his nose in a city’s 50/50 race to endorse somebody who now endorses Mr. Rhoden as being the saner choice.

grudznick is sure that Mr. Doeden is seething and raging in his oak veneered bus, which will sit in the sun this weekend, heating up, and releasing the trapped particles and volatile gases from the upholstery, resulting in a humid, suffocating tobacco reek.

      1. Well said. I’ll try to channel the ghost of Vincent Price as I amuse my wife by reading this to her later.

    1. Well, she is clearly a flaming liberal. Pay no attention to Mr. Doeden’s July 9, 2026 Facebook post congratulating her and his looking forward to working with her. If anything, that post was probably generated by the Chinese without his knowledge or consent.

      1. Right on cue from the Doeden camp. Christine is a RINO and Jamie Smith is a Demoncrat. That means they labeled the whole city of Sioux Falls either voting for a RINO or a Demoncrat……….that’s a bold move ctoon, will see how that plays out for Doeden.

  2. Ho hum – disappointed in the play up to this – thought it was going to be something bigger – ho hum

    1. What? This is as big as the Kevin Jensen, Sue Peterson and Fred Deutsch endorsement. huuuuge. I only wish this could go on so we could witness more campaign brilliance from team tony. Ads start tomorrow I’m told on the stamp shortage and the work with Congressman Dusty to work the problem. 💥

    1. You think that’s why they changed, to vote FOR Doeden? bWAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Democrats who changed have no faith in two things: 1 – no faith in the ability of their own candidate to win – and – 2 – NO FAITH or hope that the Trump-loving GOP of South Dakota would not also line up behind Doeden and give him a primary win which would guarantee a win in November and put him in the Governors office.
There’s plenty of disagreement between Democrats and Larry Rhoden on issues, but given the truly bad outcomes in front of voters – Democrats who switched are embracing the practical realities of politics in SD and saying ENOUGH of the wing nuts flooding the convention and primary to heavily game the system their way.

      1. UPSHOT: Dems know they have no hope in November no matter what. The real Govs race is NOW, in this primary – Dems who switched are voting RHODEN because Doeden should never be given gubernatorial power, just as a monkey should never be given an AK47.

          1. If Doeden does win a statewide primary vote like this, it’ll prove the GOP of this state is beyond help.
