This was not on the bingo card for South Dakota political observers.
Dana Chasin, who notes on his bio that he was former campaign adviser for Jon Tester and Tim Johnson had his name brought up in recently released files in the Epstein matter, according to Politico:
Dana Chasin — a Rockefeller heir who advised Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign as well as former Sens. Tim Johnson (D-S.D.) and Jon Tester (D-Mont.) — was listed on an invitation for the Washington event benefiting Osborn, who is running against GOP Sen. Pete Ricketts as an independent.
His name appears in a March 2024 email sent to a Justice Department attorney by Jeanne Christensen, a lawyer representing a young unnamed woman who alleged Chasin flew her on a private plane to Epstein’s Manhattan townhouse for sex with powerful men. The email, which details allegations of sexual abuse, also mentions a second flight with Chasin but does not make a direct accusation against him.

Since nobody is redacting the victims or the Democrats, I say RELEASE ALL THE FILES – ALL THE NAMES now. Comply or be assimilated.
Not hard, charge him, if guilty lock him up. Don’t wait around, get done quickly. The letter R and D should not make any difference tto anyone….ever!
Let’s go in order of number of mentions. Staring at a MILLION bid now bid now MILLION bid now bid now YUP – ONE MILLION – found one. Let’s start with that guy.
You mean “that guy” who contacted the police investigating Epstein in 2006. “That guy” who banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago over two decades ago?
Anyone who thinks that the Biden administration had evidence against Trump concerning Epstein that they didn’t release is delusional.
Gaslighting again.
Dismissing reality again. Typical liberal democrat loser.
You gots the TDSahrria so see a doctor
You are just plain stupid.
The mentions literally weren’t released by the Biden Administration, largely due to the fact that the case was sealed under an open grand jury. It’s crazy to me that you know the current leader was mentioned, you know that this wasn’t learned until recently, and you still claim Biden would have released this information if it existed despite knowing he didn’t. Are you on glue?
As, you know (if you actually read the documents that HAVE been release), the only substanianed “mentions” of Trump, essentially exonerate him from any wrongdoing.
Having grown up in a very “Blue State”, I’m also well aware that evidence “under seal” means very little when Democrats hold power.
Actually there are so many complaints DIRECTLY ABOUT Trump that no one knows where to start listing who dropped the prosecution ball?? You MUST start with Alex Acosta and Pam Bondi, who killed all paths back to Trump in Florida, and Bondi even now as the top hag at DOJ.
All of the men should be named and shamed, and charged. It’s disgraceful how anyone in the government, at any level or under any administration, would cover this up. When Acosta was the US Attorney in Florida, he really did a disservice to the victims and the just system. Shame.
This means NOTHING…
I would say it has no relation to state politics, except where one person being named did tangentially touch SD politics.
Still a lot of Republicans in the files
