Toby Doeden Voted for Barack Obama
Pierre, SD – Today, the Rhoden for Governor campaign released the “I Voted” ad, which educates South Dakotans on the fact that Toby Doeden did not vote in any Republican primaries until 2024. However, in his own words, he says he voted for both Democrats Bill Clinton and Barack Obama in previous presidential elections.
“I think I may have even voted for Barack Obama,” Toby Doeden says in the ad. The audio was captured during a meeting with a community leader.
In a fuller version of the audio (which will be made available to the media upon request), Doeden says, “I’m pretty sure I voted for Bill Clinton. I think I may have even voted for Barack Obama in 2008. My dad was a registered Democrat – I was a registered Democrat into my thirties.”
The South Dakota Republican gubernatorial runoff election is on Tuesday, July 28, 2026.

This had to of been research done by team Dusty otherwise Rhoden would have used it in the primary to move Doeden to 3rd or 4th. Team Dusty was the best campaign team in decades.

Dusty telegraphed his intentions for years leading up to this. It was the establishment’s choice to clear the way for him, or have him and Rhoden slug it out.
This isn’t radically different than the way Fred Grandy left Congress, after numerous House terms representing western Iowa. Against advice, he took on sitting Gov Branstad in the primary and lost and went on to other things. End of story.
I hope he runs again too. I took it for granted he would make it to the run off and many others did too. Larry got lucky.

I grew up with Toby my whole life…from K -12. He wasn’t born into poverty, his mother worked at 3M and was a piano player for the church, his father received disability payments. And he never worked a 1 job in high school, and he never turned a friggin wrench in his life! He was a bully and liar then, he’s a bully and a liar now!!!

The ACA also took over the federal student loan program and used it as a funding mechanism, which turned the federal government into a predatory lender
Through the Medical Loss Ratio Rebate provision, the ACA incentivized health insurance providers to pay more out in benefits & charge higher premiums, which in turn incentivized healthcare providers to raise their prices, and meanwhile, employers, wanting to increase the size of their rebate checks, were encouraged to get rid of employees who had expensive illnesses (or family members with expensive illnesses).

The failure of the United We Stand party in the 90s created a voter demographic which hated both major parties, and THIS group was groomed in a psy-op to coalesce around an outsider leader – custom made for Donald Trump, who had tried first to insert himself in Democrat politics but was shown the door.
With the right guiding hand, United We Stand became the TEA Party then became MAGA. The psy-op team using Fox and Rush to build a democracy-ending voter army is what got Trump elected. Hate for Pelosi and Obama was just fuel for the gas tank.
I DO agree that Obama is why Trump ran, and it had nothing to do with Iranian revolt or other events in question. Trump ran because Obama and Seth Meyers roasted him and embarrassed him at the 2015 Correspondents Dinner. Trump wants to dismantle anything Obama ever did.
Trump also actively erases Biden because Biden overthrew the Trump “throne” and interrupted Trump’s “reign” as the first US king.
BIDEN showed us that the US President exists to facilitate good in the world, which Trump could not care less about.
