  1. Dusty’s campaign and Doeden’s campaign both texted and called voters at the start of their conference calls inviting voters to take part. Why didn’t Rhoden?

  2. sorry I missed it. I would have asked him, if the nation goes to year-round daylight savings time, can he put the whole state on Mountain Time before the school year starts? Because this business of kids walking to school or waiting at bus stops in the dark is dangerous. We don’t want children out in the evening after dark, why would we want them out in the early morning before dawn?

      1. we tried year round DST in 1974, for a little over a year
It was a popular idea until people found out how dark it is at 7 AM in January and they hated it.
Kids were going to school in the dark, dogs had to be walked and their poop scooped but you couldn’t see it so you stepped in it. Sidewalks needed to be shoveled, cars needed to be jumpstarted and flashlights needed to be located. Everybody needed flashlights.

It turned out people like to have a little sunlight when they need to go places in the morning.

        1. if year round DST is passed, I could start a business with a brand named “the G-d F-ing Flashlight,” because all across the country, people will be yelling “where’s the G-d F-ing flashlight??!”

  3. The electorate wants change but votes for these senile old men that are a few years away from assisted living. Baffling.
